You get good food at a reasonable price at A Palazzo. Difficult parking and the drive up the hill will deter a few however its definitely worth the trip. The overall experience is good and the bill is not bad!

Il palazzo prende ilsuo nome dalla cultura contadina della Brancoleria in quanto era la residenza diun Signore della zona che esercitava anche la giustizia.L'antico casolare, risalente all'inizio del XI secolo, sfoggia una struttura in pietraed e stato completamente restaurato mantenendo le caratteristiche dell'epoca.L'intero casolare affaccia sulla bellissima valle del Serchio che, unita alla gustosacucina tipica lucchese, rende questo luogo suggestivo ed unico.The restaurant "A Palazzo" is located in San Giusto Brancoli, about 10 km fromthe center of Lucca, on the beautiful hills that surround the city. The palace takesits name from the peasant culture of Brancoleria as it was the residence ofa Lord of the area.The old farmhouse, dating back to the eleventh century, shows a stone structureand has been completely restored maintaining the period features.The entire cottage overlooks the beautiful valley of the Serchio which, combined withthe tastycuisine of Lucca makes this place beautiful and unique.
