One of my very best food experiences. Fantastic food. Fantastic flavours. Top notch vines and espresso and grappa to finish this fantastic lunch lasting for three hours. Unforgettable!!!!!

The food is outstanding and the owner and staff provide an excellent and memorable dining experience. Not only is the owner accessible and gracious but extremely knowledgeable about all his food, especially olive oil.
Food, wine, service, prices, location, atmosphere all excellent. Standout dishes were the tomato and bread soup and the fillet of beef. Pasquale also found us an amazing Tokaji to finish the night perfectly.
We were lucky to be able to find a table on Good Friday and had dinner at this charming restaurant - only 8 tables so is booking imperative. As many TA reviews tell you, this really is a great place not only because of the quality of the food but more due to the irrepressible Pasquale who runs the place.... More

Book a table and prepare for an engaged, thoughtful and personal culinary experience. Pasquale's style is authentic and caring. The small and wonderfully timed touches and stories create a theatre, that stages some amazing food and wine. I was recommended a 2010 Barolo that was perfect and even more perfect with the addition of a smoked Goose carpaccio. Attentive, caring... More
The irrepressible Pasquale will greet you and share his passion for food and wine with you with a broad smile and pride in his wonderful restaurant. His staff mirror his high standards and his food and knowledge of wine is second to none. No visit to Lucca would be complete without sharing a meal at his restaurant.
Upon arrival, we didn't have a reservation and all of the tables had been booked, but Pasquale went out of his way to find room for us and boy are we happy he did!! The meal that followed was one that we will never forget... We enjoyed a bottle of the limited edition red wine made especially for Da Pasquale,... More
From the email conversation with Pasquale himself prior to booking, to when we left the restaurant after eating, this experience was one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. The attentive staff, the tasty and quickly replenished bread basket, the various choices of amazing olive oils to try, the delicious main meals, the delightful free mini desserts and chocolates,... Hallo, we're visiting Lucca for 2 weeks early October for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary and want somewhere special to dine with
our family. There would be 9 of us. Will this restaurant thrill or disappoint? I really don't want to be disappointed on such a special
occasion. Thanks in advance for your reply
