Long and leisurely dinner here in one of several different but pretty rooms off the main drag of Lucca. Warm fresh bread, soft mozzarella with flavoursome tomatoes, pigeon breast in a port and wine sauce with lovely accompaniments, pineapple soup, biscotti and vin Santo, the things we chose. Pigeon particularly good. Nice selection of half bottles of wine, service efficient... More

We ate inside in a nice room, feeling like in a private home. The food is absolutely delicious, we had artichokes and crepes, steam fish and vegetables, gnocci, everything perfectly cooked, fresh and so good! Homemade almonds and caramel Semifreddo as a perfect dessert. Polite and efficient Staff, a very good place to eat!

This was our farewell lunch in Italy and we couldn't wish for anything else. Amazing atmosphere and service. They'll cook anything for you - just say the pasta and ingredient and nothing is a problem. The florentine steak was outstanding - much better than what we tried in Florence. Definitely recommend!

We arrived early at the restaurant for dinner, although the Bistecca Fiorantina was not on the menu, the hotel ( San Luca Palace) had informed them if the could provide a bistecca. So, yes they could. Well, it must be said that the entree, "americain" chopped raw meat with herbs) was great, the bistecca was overwelming, wel cooked, medium rare... More

Yes meat eaters there are steaks and roasts on the menu but you come here for seafood from the nearby port. I just love the place itself they have four distinct rooms with my favorites being the fireplace room or the covered garden or terrace they are all lovely and it makes the whole process of going out an adventure.... Went with my family and this restaurant was absolutely superb in terms of the food. My little ones were not really catered for but thankfully they love good food and this was certainly the place for it.

I was recommended this by the hotel I stayed at , which was the San Lucca Palace Hotel, and they were not wrong, a beautifully decorated and traditional itallian feel to it. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially as I am a fuusy eater, well I ordered and had nice bottle of Peroni brought to my table, then... More

We were searching for a place to eat and rest in Lucca in a rainy November afternoon. Several places offered by TripAdvisor were closed, but suddenly we saw All'Olivo on our way, which was not in the list, don't know why. The owner did not speak English, and we did not speak Italian, but that was not a problem. She... More

The Ristorante all’Olivo lies in the heart of the city. There is an outside dining area, however the typical features are inside, where the restaurant has a very warm ambiance in a traditional Italian décor. The menu is specialized with seafood – the portions are good, tasteful and well balanced. A special appraisal to the fish crêpe, absolutely impeccable. Hand... More

A delicious meal in Lucca as recommended by our hotel. We hoped for a location close to the town center and were rewarded with a lovely meal at a medium price. i particularly liked the use of very sweet cherry tomatoes accompanying the meat dish.
