As an Italian traveling overseas often it's difficult to walk past a quality Italian restaurant for lunch or dinner, Particularly when traveling in italy in this case florence. Momoyama is the best Japanese food I have ever had and as a change of pace (Taste) a great option. Over 50 Living in Australia and having travelled across south east Asia... More

I've been several times, and every time had different things to eat. I also asked every time for toro as it was on the menu, but they never had it. Worse, the waiter (who's the usual one there, not a new one or trainee) told me once very seriously that the reason they did not have it was it was... More

If you love fish, this is your place. Very good sushi, sashimi. The service is good, the interior is really nice. I liked almost everything except that one of the waiters stressed me. And also, it's a bit pricey. In my opinion, you're not really getting what you're paying for.

Her's a refreshing ( if a little expensive) lunch option on "the other side"....of The Arno! I tried the costly seafood ramen , but the experiment was worth it.. Quality seafood surprises in a deeply flavoured broth.. Tender Gyoza came just 4 PCs& so overall you must pay for Japanese quality-- but here you do get that.. Worth noting a... More

This is definitely the best sushi I ever had in all my life (including Singapore)... Everything's perfect, from plates presentation, to excellent sushi sides and location. Delightful.

Sushi restaurant with no actual japanese people... at first it was a little strange, but the food was great. The ambience is very simple, clean and elegant. Service is fantastic. Expensive, but if you prefer chinese sushi, go ahead. Very interesting wine list with whites that pair very well with sushi. Best tempura in Florence so far. Maybe italians do... More

Simply amazing. I was recommended by a friend to have dinner at Momoyama if I was looking for something Japanese. My kids love sushis and they just loved the food. We had dinner and would recommend to book a table in the garden. My wife who ordered vegetarian also was pleased with the variety offered. My favorite dish the dragon sushi.... More

This would have easily been a 5 star sushi restaurant for us, but during our 2nd visit, a customer brought in his dog and it changed our experience. The dog barked and tried to jump on on the seat all through dinner. As far as the sushi goes, it was excellent! They also had a decent selection of saki to... More

Excellent sushi and services and decor. The menu is extensive and food was terrific. Def a little pricier than the average sushi but also excellent food. Many locals came in and didn't see any tourists. Always a good sign!
