Had two pizzas here and they tasted fairly good for the value. Service is a bit slow but to be expected in a tourist area.

We were treated very poorly here. Our order was "lost" for over an hour. The title of this review sums up the response we received.

I wanted to try the steaks advertised all over Florence. Here, you could get a t bone, potatoes, wine and water for €26, so I gave it a try. Cooked to perfection, huge steak, however, no room for dessert. The wine which accompanied it, was...More

Description
Donnini 1894 has been in the Piazza della Repubblica, in the historic centre of Florence, since 1894. Once a literary café, now an exclusive restaurant, Donnini has always known how to change with the needs of the city. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch with a view, an aperitif in the evening or a cocktail after dinner.
