We have been in Florence for a month, now. We have tried many restaurants. While the unassuming location may fool you, this should be your first choice for an authentic, fabulous meal. The host and hostess are charming, the wait staff unbelievable (Yes, Kush, I'm...More

We had a wonderful meal at Accademia partaking in their wine and dine menu, four courses with wine pairings. Started off with welcome glass of prosecco accompanied by hot-out-of-the-oven fresh bread. First course was a rich, and creamy mushroom and parmesan struedal that was fabulous....More

My wife and I had dinner here and it was an excellent night! The service was ripping, our host Emiliano was fantastic, and his dessert suggestion was spot on! The rabbit was better than my Nonna's. Definitely worth stopping in.

We stopped here on Tuesday evening dinner - and were not disappointed. The waiter was a great character with a wicked sense of humour - which helped to make the experience. I had a mixed platter of meat and cheese to start and a veal...More

Can't recommend this restaurant enough. Made an easy booking online and arrived just before the heavens opened. Fresh ingredients, simply & superbly cooked, great choice of accompanying wines, Gianni gave expert recommendations. Fish of the day, Tagliata di Manzo, Burata with Truffles, Tiramisu, Pecorino with...More

There for Sunday lunch. Porcini salad was divine; perfect with prosecco. Bisteka fiorentino was a hell of a t-bone; to the bone. Typical Tuscan food in midst of tourist area but didn't feel touristy. Highly recommended

The pleasant atmosphere of this residential area, a
stone’s throw away from the Duomo of Florence,
surprises everyone. A continuous flow of backpacking
students provides the tranquil surroundings for the
elderly residents who sit in Piazza San Marco to read
the daily newspaper. Home to several universities,
including the Academy of Fine Arts, San Marco is one
of the most vibrant cultural centers in the city. A
