We've now visited this restaurant on four occasions - twice this November and twice on our visit to Florence November 2015. The panna cotta is to die for, as is the Spaghetti Sciliana though all the food is excellent. Lovely, friendly and welcoming - I can't wait for our next visit to Florence! Thank you.

As it had such an extensive menu, decided to give it a try. The waitress who greeted us was on her first day and was very nervous but managed well.Being vegetarians we had a slightly complicated order as wanted certain pasta dishes with a additional ingredients and some without meat or fish items. Food was ok,and the waitress managed to get... More

I did not follow any review. I was at the neighbourhood, accidently came to this restaurant, attracted by the lovely smell when passing by. The food is fantastic, simply the best. Try the cheese cake, everything is good.

My companion and I stumbled upon Palazzo Tempi for a late night dinner during our first night in Firenze. We were walking around for a few hours to immerse in the culture and learn about Florence... we saw a few restaurants right after walking over the Ponte Veccio and almost sat down, but was not fully convinced/none seemed satisfying. Somehow... More

We had a great meal here. We were a bit off finding the restaurant initially as Google Maps has it a street over from its real location - right along the waterfront. We arrived early, compared to normal Italian dinner times, at 19:00 and had the place to ourselves until 20:00. They have a great wine selection and our waitress... More

So we popped in here as we were starving hungry after getting lost on a trek to Piazzale Michaelangelo. My partner mentioned that she was suspicious of the size of the menu and the number of things they do. I told her not to be silly. I really wish I'd listened to her. I ordered a Tuna and onion pizza... More

The most amazing Italian place of the whole Italian leg of our trip. It was recommended by our Airbnb host and it was better than this place we tried in Rome (which was rated number 5 in all of Rome for pasta!) We ordered a salad, a pasta and a pizza to start but it was so delicious that we... More

Had two great meals here. It was recommended by our tour guide and was pleased to find that it was mostly locals who were guests of the restaurant..We had lunch one day and then came back the following night for dinner...Family owned and very friendly staff....the food was traditional Italian which was exactly what we were looking for..Would highly recommend...

Convenient; food was very good; service was adequate; very warm inside. Nice salads which aren't always available...so possible to have a light lunch. Food was fresh and well served.

Some have commented on the extensive menu meaning that the quality of food would be poor. I came with a group of 21 students and two other colleagues on a school trip. Being finicky about food, I was worried. The manager suggested that we have an anti-pasta and then order our mains. He created an anti-pasta of crostina (like bruschetta,... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
