A series of little things undermined what could have been a pleasant experience; the second water forgotten, the waiter' s corkscrew forgotten, the wait for the mains, the gnocchi with crab that had half a crab but no tools to get at the meat, being asked to taste house wine, 20 minutes with finished plates on the table. We paid... More

The food is definitely not what they are selling at this restaurant. The service was attentive and friendly and the ambience was warm and welcoming. The food was average. My husband had grilled lamb that he said was not bad, a litle over cooked. I ordered eggplant parmesan and I said it was the first time I've eaten in Italy... More

This is an odd thing to carp about but one thing I love about Florence is the waiter's friendly service and their encouragement to locals to return to their establishment. Somehow this doesn't seem to matter to this restaurant - I really feel that they would prefer to feed a tourist rather than someone who lives around the corner and... More

We made a reservation because the truffle menu sounded like fun for a change from the usual for us. The restaurant itself is very cute and the menu has many options. The meal began on a rough note as just about everything on the table was dirty---to the point that there was food dried and crusted onto the plates and... More

Nice place and great menu! However we made a reservation for us at 10:30 and they made us wait half an hour to sit to eat...thought that was awful but other than that the wine and pasta was very good!

We enjoyed a truly wonderful dinner here, on the night of the Festival of Lights. The attached piazza was alive with live music and dancing. My wife had a magnificent dish of Gnocchi in a Gorgonzola cream sauce topped with fresh truffles. I had the Ravioli in the Cinghale (Wild Boar) sauce which was delicious. A great local house wine... This restaurant was recommended by our hotel, The Grand Minerva. It was well tucked away but easy to find on the map and only 5 minutes walk from our hotel. We struggled with the Italian menu until we realised they had separate menus written in English but we had to ask for them!! We both had the veal in a... More

My wife and I happened to walk past here and found it to be one of the most interesting and well run restaurants we have ever been to!! Very good warm lighting and atmosphere throughout. The staff were super efficient while charming, as only Italians can be, without being rude or abrupt. The food and wines are excellent in quality... More
