The vegetarian pasta dishes were divine. Flavoursome, and melt-in-your-mouth pasta – just wonderful. Dessert options and house wines were good. Only downside is that we did not particularly like having to share a table with other patrons – if this bothers you, request accordingly during reservation.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal at this small but fantastic restaurant. It was recommended by our apartment owner - and no wonder it is his favourite restaurant in Florence! The menu is obviously changed daily and the food was first class. Booking is essential and I think we were only one of two "tourist" couples - all the other diners... More

Everytime I visit Florence I make sure to book at this little restaurant. The food is fresh local and tasty. A genuine osteria with limited menu in Italian. The staff is great and don't expect to eat pizza ice cream or any mainstream food here. Discover carciofi ritti (oven baked artichokes) pasta with duck sauce or simple and delicious toast... More

The restaurant has gone through a renovation since the many times I had visited before. However, that said, the service was excellent, prompt, and courteous. Everyone in my party was very happy with their food. We enjoyed our visit and will return any time we're in Florence. Must have reservations as they were turning people away the whole night.

Booked this restaurant from the reviews on trip advisor. We reserved a table and glad we did as it was very busy. Quite surprising as it was a Monday night on a cold February night. We absolutely loved it, everything about it.. The feel, the size, the look, the staff but especially the food. Classic beautifully tasty Italian food. Exactly... More

Found this little place two days before we left which was a pity. Even tho the place is small and you need to book great atmosphere. You really need to go to this Traditional family ordinate restaurant at least twice to try it all!! I have to admit the home made paste is reallyyy good!!

Glad we dined here. Very hard to get a reservation, so book early. Food was delicious and lives up to the other travelers ratings. I would not say it was the best meal I had in Italy, but definitely very good. Meat course was not as good as other restaurants in which we dined. Pasta was fantastic. Service was good.

This was my absolute favorite meal I ate in Italy! Everything was perfect! The staff went out of their way to accommodate our group (they literally left the establishment and brought back table from another building), the atmosphere was genuine, and the food was delizioso! The menu changes daily and is handwritten on a piece of paper which is then... More

Reservations necessary as they only have a few open seats for lunch (we were first there and fortunate to get one. Family staff will take care of you, so be nice to them! Of course the pastas tasty and lots of Florentine Appetizers. Pricing middle range with Pastas in the 12-15euros and main courses 20-25euros. Try the Special Tiramisu with... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
