This restaurant was recommended to use by our hotel but the food was very disappointing & served cold. Good choice of wine though at good prices!

This is a great place for lunch or dinner. There are fine wines available, including several by the glass. There are vegetarian items available in each meal category. My two visits to La Maremma, were very satisfying and I will certainly return.

We kept walking bye this place on our way to museums and churches . Tonight , Friday, I made a reservation for for 20;00. They were very good about honering the reservation even though the place was filling up quickly. The food is outstanding the server spoke english and was very helpful with the menu. My wife and I both... More

My husband and I had an excellent dinner! My pork chop wrapped in bacon was succulent. The friendly wait staff and welcoming ambiance added to a delightful evening.

Family owned, home made pasta and a great selection of wild boar dishes - that's a perfect trifecta for a reasonably priced lunch/diner at a local's spot. Do not shy away from the wild boar pasta and to call it a great dish is a disservice - it was exquisite. In my opinion a trip to Florence without tasting this... More

We stumbled upon this small family owned restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. It was crowded, as were most restaurants that time of year, but we were able to get a table. A great memory was when my daughter ordered a Prosecco then decided to try some of the wine we had. Rather than give us "a look", then owner just... More

La Maremma was recommended by friends who had dined here but we were a little disappointed. The Chinghalli (wild boar) was good and served in a decorative "bowl" of polenta. The roast potatoes we ordered as a side were very average and the wine list verging on the pricey side compared to choice available in other places we've been in the city.... I have been to this small family owned restaurant several times and I always return. The food is tuscan and everything is locally sourced. I have had the wild boar with the parpadelle, the gnocchi and the fiorentina. All are delicious. The food is fresh and delicious. Not a tourist trap at all.

This restaurant was recommended by Michele Paonessa, Chef Concierge at Plaza Hotel Lucchesi. Upon mentioning his name, we were warmly welcomed to this intimate local restaurant by Marco for a delicious taste of local Italian food. We arrived at 7 pm, prior to the 7:30 pm opening because we had just landed and were starving. Marco accomodated us with a... More

We arrived at 19.30h in the restaurant without reservation. The restaurant was nearly empty we got a nice table. It filled up completely around 20.00h, so I recommend to be a bit earlier. We had cheese, ham and local food as a starter, very nicely decorated, presented and also the taste was very nice. We tried the Bistecca Fiorentina and... More
