Best place in Florence where we have been. Delicious bruschette, excellent tagliata and duck meat. And the tiramisù with base of cantucci and vinsanto is just special. The atmosphere is also very good (place, music and service are all nice). Only disclaimer: it is surely expensive. But at least it is worth it, believe me in Florence this is not... More

My folks and I visited Le Barrique our first night in Florence and had a very nice meal. The starters were the star -- salmon tartare, hams, and cheeses were all excellent. If I went back, I would order all starters and share tapas style. The duck main dish also was prepared well. The pasta with mushrooms was under seasoned... More

Nice place, good food, the staff was really nice and helpful but the menu was a bit overpriced. Unfortunately they didnt have a wine we ordered and instead of bringing us the wine list back, brought us a wine that in my opinion was of lesser quality (younger with no oak) and slightly more expensive.

Blew me head off this place. Quality of dishes were fabulous. Service, yep spot on. Wine, unbelievable selection. Not much of a wine drinker myself (maybe this will come in time) but I thought, we are in somewhere that obviously specialises in vino so I'll have a wee drop with me beautifully garnished duck. Enjoyed a glass but that's as... More

We have been there at the last day of our trip to Florence. Once you pass the Arno river and come to a more "quiet" an more "empty" Florence, you can discover a lot of nice and very good places to have lunch or dinner. Thanks to tripadvisor we found this "pearl". We book online a table (with the help... More

Beautiful quiet setting for an evening meal in the courtyard to the rear of the restaurant. Friendly welcome from the staff on arrival. Quite a small menu choice but great food nevertheless and well presented. Booking is recommended to get a table in the garden courtyard, we did an on-line reservation through 'the fork' for a 30% reduction on the... More

In all of two weeks travelling Italy, I can safely say this dinner was the most unbelievable, unforgettable and MOST delicious. Cannot help but write a review to make sure others don't miss this! I found this restaurant listed as somewhere to eat on a travel blog I follow, so my boyfriend and I decided to check it out. Upon... More

We had this place recommended by our hotel and it was in a nearby location. The ambience was good and we sat in the courtyard which was pretty. The place really specialises in wine and this was evident in the detailed list. The food was simple and perhaps just a little bland, The waiting staff were a mixed bunch the... More
