Fuori Porta is located in Florence downtown, very close to piazzale Michelangelo and not far from Ponte Vecchio. I had a dinner here with my boyfriend on a hot June night. The place is nice and simple. The service is quite slow and not exactly...More

Wonderful atmosphere and service, especially if you make a reservation of the terrace. Perfect for evening, after the rose garden in May or June. The food is great, order a crostini. It is a specialty of the house.

Just inside the walls of the city heading up to Piazzale Michaelangelo and the gardens is this wonderful little cafe. Great wine selection and the perfect spot for people watching. We stopped for a glass and ended up sharing a bottle.

Great service and excellent menu. The bread soup and bruschetta were surprisingly delicious. Our server was attentive and accommodating to our divergent levels of Italian language skill. Decent prices, laid back casual atmosphere with good lighting.

Stopped whilst walking up the hill for a light lunch. We both had pumpkin risotto and a glass of wine. The wine was an easy drinking white and fine. The risotto looked appetising and colourful, however it lacked seasoning and so I put lots of...More
