We got to know about the restaurant during our stay in the Cortona area and we thought that we should try this 1 star (well, not just any star it is a Michelin star) restaurant. We like really good food and we absolutely love Italian food. Said and done, we gave the GPS instructions and started our journey with our... More

It was such a great experience staying at this property. The wines and food were so amazing as was the service. The restaurant is the most beautiful that I've ever seen and I'm relatively well-traveled. Looking forward to future visits.

We have been traveling around Italy, from Australia, the last couple of months, and decided to experience this Michelin star restaurant one Sunday afternoon for lunch. Having eaten at a lot of fine reastaurants (we live in Melbourne) we were most impressed with this fine establishment. The degustation menu was superb. It was some of the most freshest and impressive... More

Two couples stayed at the Relais Il Falconiere in September, and enjoyed a tremendous small-hotel/inn and restaurant experience. The Relais was our first stop in a 2-week trip to Italy. The first night of our stay we ate at the inn's fine restaurant, since we had read of its' excellence and since we were too tired to drive into Cortona... More

The location, the view, the food, the service: all were top notch. Please go and please have a winery tour before your dinner. You will enjoy every bit of your experience.

Relais Il Falconiere ticked all the technical boxes of a Michelin starred restaurant but, in my opinion, didn't quite live up to the hype. Don't get me wrong, the service, food and ambiance was excellent and what I'd expect of this level of restaurant, it's just that it doesn't live up to my expectations of how exciting this level of... After having had a wine tour by Benedetto, the son of the owner. Both his mother and father came by during the wine tasting which felt special and was good fun! After this we headed towards the great outside terrace for our dinner a la carte. We all had great courses an Baracchi Ardito wine which we had tasted earlier,... More

The food and service here were excellent. This place definitely deserve their Michelin star. Our starters were great. I had the soup with buratta and my wife had the pici pasta. We shared the T-Bone which was also good. The service was overall excellent. My wife ended up not feeling well and left abruptly early. (Heat and a lack of... More

Description
It is actually very easy to cook well and obtain great dishes if one begins with first choice ingredients, that's what we do every day, searching for the best products is our philosophy.
We are mentioned by the most authoritative Guides with excellent evaluations. The restaurant is housed in the old lemon house with a glass and wrought-iron conservatory, overlooking the outside dining terrace with its ancient fishpond and rose-clad pergola. It is famous for its cuisine focused in the territory. A pleasant experience made of many different details: a refined and bright ambience, the terrace with its breathtaking view of the valley for romantic dinners, a superb Tuscan cuisine and a vast wine list with the Baracchi wines as well.
