Osteria 'Lo Bianco' in Palermo is an authentic gem. Immersing yourself in its typical Sicilian menu, you will have the opportunity to enjoy delicious dishes, prepared with passion and skill. Portions are generous, ensuring no one leaves with an empty stomach. Prices are surprisingly reasonable. But what makes the experience even more memorable is the staff: always nice, friendly and ready to make you feel at home. Highly recommended!

I had lunch with them and I must say that the food is excellent, the service is good and the prices are exceptional. You can park in front in a large public car park. Only note: a little more cleaning, unfortunately I saw a few too many cobwebs in the ceilings and a bit of junk near the entrance to the bathrooms. I recommend it if you are in the area.

The quality of the food is for the price you pay. My pasta was overcooked and I found inside a hard piece of I don't know what. But the thing I was disappointed about was that without asking I was brought the bill while I was still finishing sipping my wine and talking to my diners. I think it happened because they needed the table for the people waiting, but it was enough to ask nicely and in a way and not bringing the bill (since we could still have dessert or coffee). That's not right.

The only two good things were the water and the bread... Poor, everything was really poor and the place was poorly maintained and dirty. The dress code of the gentleman who took the orders, in addition to being unkempt and dirty, was characterized by a manicure that paid little attention to hygiene and a nail on his right little finger that was at least 2cm long!
I was expecting an old-time tavern where I could taste the good, true Palermo cuisine... what a disappointment!

This is how I like my Italian osterie to be! Busy, loud, friendly and welcoming, with a staff who know their jobs and a kitchen that produces excellent local dishes.
No dots or smears of sauce or food artily piled on top of itself to create an impression - just good hearty well-cooked fare: and at an excellent price, too!

We went for a dinner in Osteria Lo Bianco, we had a greatfull time, we been eating few starters, zuppa di cozze, insalata di mare, than we had pizzas and some sarde a beccafico and frittura di calamari. We had an outstanding waiter, Paolo, really attentive, funny, simply amazing.
Definitely we will come back..!

our server , valentino was the best! the cooks and employees all were terrifc. food was simple and affordable. we had a chef anti-pastsa plate and pasta, with vino. best place we went to in palermo

Amazing service off all staff! Have to say that paolo stood out as he also spoke English and it made me feel better as anywhere else you go, hardly anyone speaks English so this was a great surprise for me! The food was perfect, best Sicilian pizza I’ve tasted... atmosphere was great, staff made us feel welcome and I will definitely be coming back !

We found this place by luck. It is the only place where we could have talked English in Sicily. Not only pizzas but also other dishes like meat and chicken are delicious. It is one of the best chicken grills we have ever eaten. Prices are affordable and cheaper than many restaurants in Italy. The ambiance is better than other restaurants. On the other hand, the waiter Mirko gived us the best advices on both choosing our meal and trip in Palermo. He is so friendly and helpful like other waiters. If you visit Palermo, you should definitely go to this amazing place.

We came here after our rental car situation took forever. We realized by the time we drove to Cefalu, everything would be closed. What a gem. Our waiter, Mirko recommended a regional special “polpette di sarde”. It was beyond amazing. We were “oh my god-ing” after every bite. Our sons pizza was also outstanding. Great service. Great food.

Outstanding authentic Sicilian cuisine. We loved the food and the atmosphere. My father in law of Sicilian descent was duly impressed. Incredible service and our waiter named Mirko provided us with a fantastic lasting impression on our last night in Sicily. We will return!
