We loved this cafe for our breakfast. We stopped by nearly every day in one week. Amazing granite, the pastries are always extremely genuine with fresh ingredients, yummy and of a great variety. The staff is very friendly. If you want to enjoy Piazza dell'Elefante from that spot you will not regret it! Top!

This review is for the caffe near Fontana d'Elefante and cathedral in Catania. Nice place for a snack and coffee. Under nice awnings we ordered gelato and a macchiato. The gelato, pistachio of course, was delicious with ground nuts, and my caffe macchiato was perfect. The free Wi-Fi was nice, the toilet adequate and quaint as they all are.

I was not very hungry when I passed by the shop but everything looked so nice here, I almost would like to buy one item for each stuff. They simply carry the traditional Italian taste and presentation.

I am here in this beautiful baroque square trying to have a light lunch...if you are vegetarian please do not go to Nonna Vincenza! Ham, meat and lard are virtually everywhere. I could had only a cappuccino and a croissant. This last one tasted like egg and was not fresh. My friend had the same experience with an "iris" another... More

Our coffee comes from the experience of traditional Sicilian sweets, if it seems heavy it's just a matter of taste. For vegetarians ralizziamo savory on Flood only with tomatoes and salad. But if you do not like the taste of the Sicilian tradition, we are not the bakery for you! More

we wanted to try one arancini in Catania, so we stoped here. When we told that we want only one arancini, waiter turned his eyes and said that if we only want one thing, it would be better if we didnt take anything-> we were the only guests, so he should be happy that we even stopped there!

Anyone that doesn't think this place is amazing is not a foodie. Good food is about quality and the ingredients in these pastries are pure and not notch. The chocolate in the cannoli is among the best I have ever tried (and I've eaten a lot of deserts in 5 star restaurants). It's not about how big the selection is,... More

This is a chain in Italy and friends were on the hunt for a good cannoli - traditional Sicilian cannoli. Nonna Vincenza's was nice - but lacked a lot of the mix of flavours expected - the citron with chocolate in the ricotta. Two arancia (rice balls deep fried with mozzarella in the interior) which we also took home were... More

Expensive by Catania's standards but full of Sicilian deliciousness! Great for presents to bring back home or just for a few tasty treats for yourself.
