Find the street Filomena and you will find a street full of restaurants. We chose to go to this one. All I can really say is if you like big massive meatballs then you won't be disappointed, if your not keen on meatballs then give it a miss.

We have ordered 2 pizzas, unfortunately! No taste, no written ingredients, pure cheese and bread, not even tasting as pizza. Don't fall in a tap of the cool Ambiente!!!

This is by far the best restaurant in Catania. Excellent Sicilian food, excellent service and lovely location.

happened upon this quite by chance as we were out sightseeing. The street is full of restaurants but we liked the look of this one. It is basically a meatball restaurant but hubby ordered the steak. Wow!! He is very hard to please and usually prefers Scottish beef however this was fabulous and i was so jealous. Staff were realy... More

First of all, the service: simply awful. We felt like we were doing them a disservice by being there. Then the food: we had pizza and even if they were large in size, we did feel like they were overpriced (at least taste wise). A word of caution: ask for the price of a pizza box if you consider taking... More

Quite pricey. Basic food. Most dishes were unseasoned. Good wines though. Trendy place and nice location but not for quality food. Quality price ratio is not there.

Overpriced portions badly served beef with dry and not fresh salad and fake cheddar cheese. Meat tasted good though. The salmon/potato polpette are not eatable, they tasted like frozen tv food. Bread was very nice. Service was fast but personel barely spoke any english. they were pushy wanting to add more things in the order, looking bored to death and... More

Avoid this place. Really. Food is the worst I've had not just in Sicily but probably ever. My pasta dish "with Sicilian products" was horrible and had not products except bacon. Overpriced sad little place. I should've listened to my gut feeling but was too tired and all the other places on that street were full.

Meatballs are the go here but the pasta and pizza were great. The Mussels and clams amazing. Great atmosphere sitting out on the street rather than inside - lots of locals eating here too, which is a good sign. Good value and great Etna wines.
