We first tried several other highly ranked (in TA) restaurants while passing through Brindisi for lunch, but all of them were fully booked as it was a Sunday and late. Out of desperation (as it was almost closing time), we went into this unassuming restaurant (it doesn't get high marks for atmosphere) and we didn't regret it! First of all,... More

Good menu with local foods--great fish, good pasta, and wonderful wine, an Negroamaro that was recommended from a local winery in the Lecce area

Been here with a group of colleagues. We took some starters, tempura mostly, and then I took a Japanese big plate to share. Quality is really good. Unfortunately I didn't try sashimi, so my final opinion about their Japanese specialties is just postponed. We took a big plate to share in three, asking them to add few more pieces. So... More

Had lunch here yesterday. I would not return. Not a great food experience. I was greeted by a friendly waiter who spoke decent English. I opted for a main, dessert and wine. I left the bread untouched. I only eat outstanding bread as otherwise the health cost is simply not worth it. Their bread basket looked unappealing. The salad was... More

We were really starving when we arrived here so they started with an advantage, since you're less critical when you're nearly dying from starvation. But even almost famished, the risotto wasn't that special. When a foreign non-professional cook thinks that his risotto is better than the one he has eaten in Italy, something's not right. Don't get me wrong, it's... More

It was refreshing to find a restaurant near the port serving both fish and meat dishes. As a non fish eater I found the choice of meat dishes were more than I expected and the duck I was delicious. A wider selection of vegetables would have made this meal perfect!

Pleasant mixed menu with both seafood and meat, in fact there is something here for everyone. Not a large choice, but all our group ate well, favorites seemed to be the duck breast and steak wrapped in potato. The seafood antipasti looked good and the spaghetti with mixed seafood was satisfying. The staff were welcoming and pleasant and I must... More

Just attended this evening and it's the worst place I've eaten in Brindisi. I am Italian and I have spent my childhood in this town and never experienced such a lack of taste with the starters and the main. The service was average even though I felt like the owners were treating their customers in a complete different way and... More

The looks are better than the taste... Antipasti de la casa ok, but without the real italian touch; pasta i would made better at home although i sm not italian; meat of low quality and no taste. No comparison with the delicious pantagruelle only 100 m away. A pity because teras and service are nice. I am sorry to say... More
