Be among the firsts after opening as it is filling quickly. We had an excellent mix grilled fish plate. Also the ricotta and chocolate cake was great.

Great place to eat seafood near the old town. And they are open at 2-3 PM when many other places are closed.

This restaurant provides traditionally cooked fresh seafood. I had dinner here twice and we enjoyed excellent seafood pasta, mixed fried seafood and perfectly done sea bass. Having seen raw sea urchins being served, I asked the charming owner if he would serve me spaghetti ai...More

Went with great expectations. Asked if we could share a risotto starter for two. Told by owner manager that this was not possible. (Not mentioned on menu). We struggled with poor Italian to confirm that we would have two starters. Owner manager then ignored us...More

Solid comfort food, it was late and we went with the waiters suggestions. No complaints from us, the food and wine were excellent, and the wait staff were the perfect Italians, just short of rude and perfectly playful. Overall a delight for us, if you...More

Just ok. Nothing wow. We had beef and tuna in pistachio. What we missing is some side. Well beef comes with some salads, but tuna is with pistachio only. Not lucky selection I guess.

I am really puzzled why this restaurant ranks in top 20. The ambiance is ok, food ok-ish but staff is terrible. The staff was not interested in the guests. The guy bringing the food did definitely not enjoy his work. The courses came very fast...More

We stayed in Puglia for nearly a week, and we had wonderful dining experinces. Still, La Muraya surprised us and offered a meal that topped it all. We had plates of orecchiette con cime di rapa – although it was not in season anymore, they...More

Outstanding, cozy and refined atmosphere, impeccable service make restaurant La Muraya an absolute reference point in Bari. In La Muraya all the authentic flavors of the local cuisine are worthy home space. The welcome and hospitality that the staff, led expertly by the owner Nino renowned for its "turn" the tables to make sure that everything goes well, next in search of ingredients kilometer zero and first choice are just a few of the strengths of La Muraya. Especially appreciated are the dishes of fish (the famous "ravioli" with squid ink and "spaghetti alla chitarra" with sauce of cicadas Greek) fixed menu and daily specials (which vary depending on the raw materials available).
