This was an unexpected surprise and great restaurant we found for dinner. Try the house wine as it's cheap and very good. The seasonal special, zucchini flower filled with cheese was a bit disappointment so I wouldn't recommend. Spaghetti with clams was the best! If you like cheese, get the crepe filled with cheese dish. Much more reasonably priced than... More

This Osteria is located a bit outside the big tourist crowds. The great advantage is therefore that it focusses more on the Italian audience. So no pizza/pasta tourist stuff but classic Italian antipasti/primo/secundo/dolce. (Although decided to skip the secundo) The parma ham with buffalo mozzarella is an absolute must. Very basic but superb quality ingredients. As it was asparagus season... More

I found this place by accident. In an alley just up from the castelvecchio, I walked by one afternoon. The chef was standing in the doorway talking and laughing with the staff. It looked like my kind of place. That night I insisted my group go for dinner here. It was great! while we had good food in Verona and... More

Casa Vino is set a quiet side street near the Arco dei Gavi, in the heart of the historic city. The staff gave us a warm welcome & talked us through the menu. We ordered the daily special of baked courgette flowers stuffed with ricotta cheese - delicious! This was followed a Veronese speciality, risotto make with local Amarone wine... More

Besides the food taking a little longer than we have been experiencing, it was all delicious and worth the slight wait. The gluten free pasta tasted fresh, but was slightly overdone. Black potato gnocchi was delicious! Appetizers were amazing as well.

Had a very nice meal here. Small brown shrimps on polenta followed my gnocchi zucca. Both very nice. Portions were a little small but I think the gnocchi was not a main course (my mistake). Have a very nice half bottle of wine, grappa and desert for €37. I think that is quite reasonable. The restaurant has two sections, the... More

I'm afraid to say too much as this place might not be so easy to get in when we come back to Verona! Yes, we're already talking about that. There are so many restaurants in Verona to choose from and you have to be very picky about where you eat as time is so limited! We ate here 3 times!... More

This restaurant appealed as the menu had more variety than many others in the neighbourhood. All our choices were delicious from the Aubergine Ravioli to the Seafood Spagetti. The desserts were sensational and the wine - we had asked for a recommendation - was smooth and a perfect compliment to the seafood. We did have the zucchini flower appetizer which... More

Been there last month. Boy, it was one of the best lunches I've ever had in my life. The staff was very polite, the venue is very cozy and nice and the food was absolutely incredible! It was impeccable from the starter to the dessert. I recommend it to everybody!

I visited this restaurant several years ago, and loved it then--it has gotten better. The interior has been updated on one side, and the quality of the food is as good as ever. Zucchini flowers as an antipasti were a real treat--very light. Branzino was delicious, and there was still room left for a dessert, which was nicely complimented by... More
