I wanted to swing by Verona visting a friend and we defiantly popped by at one of the most famous restaurant in town, lucky enough to find a table as we didn't book. I was impressed by the distintictive character of the place. Apparently everthing promitting a great brand experience. Shortly after we came to realize it was a paper-perfect... More

Great food, great wine and great service. In a small personal setting. We had the best gnocchi and the sirloin was exceptional. Grazie mille !

We had an amazing dinner. Extremely good food and really great service. We had broccoli , truffle risotto and it was my best risotto I've ever had. Mouthwatering !! Can't wait to go back there ❤❤

It's not the average tourist menu. There is limited pasta and no pizza. BUT there is innovation in the menu that delivers in parts. The roe, pumpkin and blueberry pasta is sublime but the mains were underwhelming, too small, no vegetables and too few flavours. BUT the Tiramisu, which has won an award as world best delivers. Great service!

When I arrived at the door, my initial thought was that it was closed, as there were no obvious signs outside and the window blinds were down. However, I tried the door and stumbled upon a wonderful local gem of a restaurant. Excellent service, catering easily to me as a coeliac, reasonably priced wine and some extremely delicious local food.... More

Drove down from Bassano to Verona for the day and friends had reserved a table for us here. The antipasto is spectacular right down to the home made giardini, slicing the meats in full view of diners was fabulous! Pasta mains were rich and delicious ( I had tagliatelle with artichokes) , not something I would normally choose but was... More

We had an excellent meal at Trattoria Al Pompiere and they also provide gluten free options and bread. While we had not reserved a table, we were there some 30 minutes before they opened and so were given a table for 19:30. The food we ordered was excellent, delicious succulent liver as was the pasta dish my husband chose. We... More

Meals were superb, wine list excellent and service very fluently. It was busy Saturday evening and place was full but everything run really well. We were totally satisfied.

In the center of the town, off the marble floored pedestrian zone, on a side street. Quite a scene, busy little restaurant. As a visitor to Italy, its exciting, typically Italian. Service is impeccable, prosciutto a speciality, pasta very good, but so were the pasta dishes anywhere in Italy on our trip. Even though it seemed that we went off... More
