Decent food but the staff should get back to some basic conventions of human conduct thus relinquishing their broadly displayed attitude of arrogant ignorance.

We went for dinner. Walked past in the morning as they were getting the fresh fish and vegetables delivered. Very good fresh food and good service, we will be going back on our next visit.

It's been a while when atmosphere in a restaurant outplays the food and service but this was the place for us during our 4 nights in Venice. Excellent food. Service was enhanced by waiters with a sense of humor but the most memorable part of...More

Ristorante Bacaro da Fiore in Venice is not a big place. It is local inn, nearly hidden few steps from the Santo Stefano Church. Restaurant is not cheapest and you will not get a lot of sitting space. Fiore has good, fresh seafood and friendly...More

Tuna fish steak was tasty and so were the spaghetti with black of squid, another fish dish was unmemorable....2 glasses of wine and an appetizer of muscles and clams in a tomato sauce ruined the delicate taste of the fish. Nothing spectacular but definitely too...More

This was only our second meal in Venice so it’s hard to compare it to other place. With that being said, the food is amazing and the waiter was incredibly nice. My wife and I shared two appetizers, a pasta, and a bottle of wine...More

Great service from start to finish! The meals were delicious and the dessert was scrumptious. We stopped at the recommendation of our hotel staff and we are glad we did.

The decor of this delightful restaurant is like a ship, reflecting the predominance of seafood on its menu. For starters, the kitchen sent a delectable cream of shrimp soup, I followed that with the best seafood soup ever. The wait staff was helpful and friendly.

For our last night in Venice we chose this restaurant, as it was near the apt where we were staying and every time we walked by, we kept saying how we wanted to try it since it looked so inviting. It’s in a quiet little...More

You may fall upon Trattoria Da Fiore restaurant in Venice with cries of delight not only is it a charming, laid-back trattoria run by a native Venetian family, it is also incredibly affordable for this high-ticket city. Near Piazza San Marco, too, so its perfect for every kind of tourist or business noshing. A small, historic, charming spot with a separate space for those who wish to just nibble cichetti and drink a glass of wine, Trattoria Da Fiore has the beamed ceilings, warm plastered walls and dark wood seating and white table linens all typical of Venetian eateries. The menu is Italian and Sergio and his two children pay particular attention to the choice of wines. The house specialty is pennette da Fiore for two with olive oil, garlic and seven seasonal vegetables, though some swear by the zuppa di pesce alla chef brimming with just about everything that swims, perhaps followed by sgroppino al limone to finish. Youll find Trattoria Da Fiore full of both tourists and locals, and something of a triumph.
