Away from the maddening crowd - this is a gem. The food was delicious and the servings were generous. We had the the 3 choices of food which was a wonderful combination of tastes. The service was helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Orient experience is a great choice for those not into pizza and pasta or sick of Italian food. After trying nice but simple chichetti and caprese salads, we wanted something different so we went here. It's a great concept. You choose 3 or 5 items...More

Last visited in 2014.Wrote a note then to return and went back yesterday. Nothing had changed. Interesting food, excellent value, a lovely place to be, well looked after. The place to go. Forget the over priced City restaurants just turn up here. We thought we...More

In a city that lacks culinary diversity, this place is a true hidden gem. Although I do love pizza and pasta, it was such a relief to find this restaurant. Having spent the last 2 weeks ordering the same meals due to a lack of...More

What a lovely find! Orient Experience has delicious food and a friendly and helpful multi-lingual staff. Go for the food and the nice atmosphere and also check out the lovely tile floor and lighting in the restroom. Loved our whole evening!

This restaurant sounds from the name like it will be Far Eastern. However, it specialises in food from the Eastern Med to Iran/Afghanistan, and includes loads of veggie-friendly options. The food is excellent and the portions generous; we had to have a very long walk...More

discovered this place through google search... it's around 20mins walk from the famous Rialto bridge - still in the hive of bar restaurant and shopping activity. A gem of a find.... great food great service - at a great price - considering eateries focus on...More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
