A take-away spot with a limited seating area. But don’t let this stop you. The pizzas are amazing regardless of which toppings you chose – because of the tasty base. Definitely worth a stop.

Best Pizza for your buck... skip all the fancy and come here... great fast service... So glad we found this place and it was not far from where we stayed. One huge pizza fed all of us for only 10 euro. Even had them double slice. Kiddos were happy.

Nice place for a quick slice. Large slices for only 2€. Busy at lunch time for locals! Quick service, nice selection of slices or full pies.

Dining in venice is very expensive so this place was our place to eat. For us normal prices, big and tasty pizza. You can sit on street near canal and eat your pizza. If you are on budget or you want a quick bite this is the place in Venice.

Cheap and extremely good pizza - huge portions and practically no waiting time! Very happy we stopped here for our first dinner in Venice.

It's average pizza. Not good, not bad. It is quick and cheap so if that fits your circumstances then go for it. But don't come expecting to be blown away by amazing pizza.

Average pizza for a good price. Nice to grab a quick slice and continue wandering Venice. Ordering a whole pizza seemed like the best way to go to guarantee freshness.

My husband and I stopped in at pizza 2000 for a quick lunch. For six euros, we each got a huge slice of pepperoni pizza and a beer. The pizza was absolutely delicious and we even went back for more! A great spot to visit in Venice.

Staying in San Polo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Polo
The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the Grand Canal in San Polo, smallest of Venice's six sestieri (districts) and by far the busiest neighbourhood. Morning Venetians arrive to peruse the markets for fish, fruit and vegetables, while shops display goods from cheese to wine to desserts. San Silvestro and Rialto Market vaporetto (water taxi) stops add to the steady stream of foot traffic. San Polo is defined by churches including Basilica dei Frari, one of the most important churches sought by art lovers.
