We ate here because our hotel was right next door and the hotel owner recommended the pizza at this place and we were very pleased with this because it was tasty pizza and very filling. We had 2 pepperoni pizzas on our first night. On...More

Popped into this little place for lunch. It had a nice atmosphere that drew us in. The menu was a decent size and they have them in different languages. The food was awesome. The staff was very sweet. We really enjoyed it. We would go...More

we stopped here for a coffee after a extra long walk from the Rialto bridge, it was 12oclck and the sun was shining, extra cold and the heaters were on so we went in, it was lovely to sit and have a coffee and watch...More

I can honestly say this is the worst Italian food I have ever had. Although I’ve been wholly unimpressed by the food in Venice, to say this was a huge disappointment is an understatement. My calzone was filled with canned mushrooms, the gnocchi was sub-par,...More

Anuwar enticed us in with his friendly smile. We ate here three nights in a row because the food was good and the service was friendly and Anuwar recognised us as we walked nearby on the two subsequent visits. This is really impressive when you...More

The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. Reasonably priced. However, their cappuccino was extremely strong but they brought us more hot milk on request. I was happily eat here again.

Location was great but food was nothing special... soggy bottom pizzas and lacking toppings... pasta dishes looked edible. Price for meal pretty good for Venice

Ordered the tourist menu which was like a combo plate, reasonably priced. Had the lasagna and grilled fish. Enjoyed it. Got a free glass of champagne which was nice. Located in a square so definitely good people watching.

We had been warned about restaurants ripping off tourists with cover charges, service charges and per 100gm overlays ... but nothing of the sort here. Lovely meals from an extensive menu, served promptly and at reasonable prices. We had two meals there and they were...More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
