Our guide (Luisella Romeo...seevenice.it) recommended this restaurant as "one of the best in Venice" when we passed by. We're glad she did. Small. Cosy interior, but virtually empty as the weather was great. Like most, we dined on their outside tables in the adjacent square....More

Venice in July is hot and muggy, and we Bostonians were suffering a bit. But we wanted a great meal nonetheless, and this restaurant hit the mark! Food and service were terrific, and we sat inside, enjoying the AC and the people-watching as they strolled...More

Location perfect to where we were staying, outside seating was right in the walk way, very good atmosphere, service and food. Portion size of lamb chops not worth the price, but all other items we ordered were good size.

Nice location in a historic building but the food was not very good. The menu had a strange combination of ingredients such as the stuffed crepes

It took us a while to find it as we find the streets in Venice a bit difficult to navigate. Great food and service (we had reservations) The grappa offered by the restaurant at the end of the meal at no charge was a lovely...More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and it was lovely. Plenty of locals eat there so that is definitely a sign of how good it is. Good is you like fish and meat, although great vegetarian options too.

he server spilled wine all over my daughter. I know things happen, but it's at these times when you see the true side of a person/service/restaurant. The server only offered emergency wine spray but wasn't apologetic at all despite my daughter was in tears getting...More

Beautiful location for stunning Italian food. I had the smoked cheese ravioli which was delicious with a glass of red. Save some room for the dessert!

This restaurant is recommended in the Lonely Planet guide, and although it's a bit out of the way, is well worth the 15 mins walk from Rialto. It's set alongside the canal and we sat outside in the square on a stunning day in a...More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby

We had the concierge at the hotel make the reservation. Day before. Not uncommon that's there's room w/o reservation, but sometimes there's a bit of a wait.
