Quaint restaurant on out of the way canal away from tourist strip with traditional Italian style cuisine. Reasonably priced, tasty food and very drinkable house wine. Good place for family dining.

Called in here after late arrival in Venice. Along the path from our apartment. Nice vibe and very welcoming. Pasta is very good. With clams heavy on garlic. Delicious. Good prosecco and attentive staff. Worth a visit

Go the effort to walk outside of the main tourist areas and find a quaint little restaurant, it is definitely worth it! Service was very welcoming, and the food is absolutely Devine. Simple but cooked to perfection! & not expensive at all!!

Great place. Great food, great service, great prices and less tourists. What more could you ask for ? Have the sardines starter, the Venetian pasta and the lemon sorbet for desert - fantastic :)

Recommended by half-locals as a Restaurant not frequented too much by tourists - this was true. But, in fact, after leaving we wondered, why locals would bother to come out here to eat. The place was nicely decorated, greetings acceptably friendly. When ordering the first...More

I think you are well served if you are local here. But as a visitor you pay for mediocre food, poor service and ok prices. Wouldn't recommend, and far better in the vicinity with friendlier staff, better food

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby
