The dinner was good. No complaints. The portions are quite sizable, so even a main is almost sufficient; which is a shame because we loved the mussels. So either come hungry or only go forking dish.

Venice is packed full of restaurants and choosing one is difficult. Plus all the menus seem similar. We decided on this restaurant because it was off the beaten track, close to where we were staying and had rec'd good reviews from Rick Steves, Lonely Planet...More

We had dinner here and probably ordered the wrong stuff. The burger was no good. The ambiance was nice but the service was poor. There are so many better places to eat nearby.

Food quality a bit disappointing. A burrata salad with no dressing on a very basic 70s style lettuce bed, and some gnocchi to forget. On the contrary very nice and friendly staff.

On recommendation visited but we were disappointed. The prosciutto machine "wasn't working", the coffee machine was out of order and the liver with onions and polenta was was ordinary. The polenta was tasteless. Wines good, service good.

Ensure you pre book. Great and varied menu with lots of options for vegetarians and meat eaters. The food was excellent and of a good size. The restaurant is rustic with a very romantic feel. The waitresses were helpful and friendly
