Delicious (we had a mix of all the antipasti, spaghetti gorgonzola, vinegar escalope, 2 limoncellos each and a bottle of wine), the escalope has to be tried it's expensive but more than enough for 2 and a true experience but you do have to like...vinegar. For 2 we paid 240€ but we ate so so much and do not regret it the owner is nice & super proud of his establishment. We also heard that the tiramisu is awesomeMore

Just a small frustrated note to say the restaurant was closed despite our confirmed reservation through our hotel concierge and travel agent from over a month before the date, and it took us over an hour and a half to determine that fact after walking...in cold, wet fog to try to find this place which is completely unmarked.More

I hate to write a negative review of this restaurant, so highly praised in the "Somebody Feed Phil" series and, evidently, a favorite of Hollywood celebrities (judging by the photo album the waiter shows to diners), but in fact there was nothing great about it....We did not have the signature dish -- a pork chop pounded and flattened to approximately the size of a ukulele and doused in vinegar, meant to be shared by two or three diners -- but the appetizer and two pasta dishes we did have were just undistinguished. The spaghetti with gorgonzola was just that, way too much gorgonzola melted on spaghetti and no other ingredient or seasoning detectable -- and the spaghetti ai carciofi (artichokes) was just mysterious. The artichokes were in the form of a green paste, probably mixed with spinach, tossed with spaghetti, and tasted merely green. The dishes showed no subtlety or inventiveness (unless you count the surprise of artichoke paste) and were certainly not delicious. And at very, very high prices, too. One bargain: the half-liter carafe of red wine at 15 euros was absolutely fine and plenty for the two of us. And the waiter was very nice and friendly, too, and did not try to up-sell us. I would just warn people that Venice holds much more interesting and tasty food opportunities than this over-hyped and overpriced spot.More

The experience is the food, not the background music (there isn't any) nor the open space (it's half of a single-wide American trailer home. The pounded, breaded, then doused in vinegar pork chop is good, probably one-of-a-kind. Ernesto wasn't interested in conversing but Xxxxxx asked...us about our stay in Venice, where we were from, then shared a framed news story about how a famous film producer flew Ernesto, him and a third team member to LA to make meals. Neat. We were the first table there for about 30min before two more tables arrived. Top 5 experience in a town full of great experiences.More

68 € for a pork chop!! The only thing exceptional about it was the size - ridiculously large and just a gimmick. It was soused with vinegar which made us all cough and tasted like a pork chop with vinegar poured on it The two...other dishes we had tasted of nothing. Do not be taken in by the hype around this restaurant!!More

a lot of people come to Vini Da Arturo after watching the somebody feed phil show. everyone at the restaurant (including myself) ordered the pork chop. and as I sat there i thought I'm sure the place has other food other then what people see...on TV. I did have a salad and wine and the pork chop was the best i had ever had in my life but next time i go I'll be sure to order something else on the menu that maybe the great staff will recommend. this place was the best place i ate at in Venice, Italy. I hope to be back.More

Brilliant service, lovely friendly people, Gorgonzola pasta was the best thing I’ve eaten in a long time. Bolognese nice too, but Gorgonzola was the one. We were given the most delicious fig cake on the house, and even treated to the recipe after. Was such...a special evening I won’t forget, and I can’t wait to return one dayMore

Looks like a nice retro cafe style restaurant and has retro style dishes like spag bog but but be warned it does not however have retro prices to match ! Very disappointing and food is very overpriced. It may be difficult to get a tabe...because this tiny place has so few not because everyone is raving over the very average food. I think the odd actor has been spotted in the place and that has caused a very bad case of 'the Emporers new clothe' syndrome !!! Wake up everyone. Venice is suffering enough and places like this just give it a bad name. Avoid ! Don't say I didn't warn you.More

Our concierge recommended this restaurant when we wanted an easy, delicious pasta dinner and it delivered. It’s a tiny little place and the staff is fantastic. Quiet, easy atmosphere. Exactly what we were hoping for.

This is a cute little place tucked away in a little street within the canals. I got the recommendation to come here by a friend who has been in Venice many times. It made me feel like I was traveling prior to when TripAdvisor existed...and took recommendations by word of mouth. The place is very small and is surrounded by celebrities' pictures who has frequented the restaurant. The service was fast and efficient, an the food pretty amazing. I got the waiter's recommendation for pasta, which is pasta with some kind of artichoke sauce; whatever it was, it was delicious. It was also nice to talk to the waiter who said that the people from the restaurant come to Los Angeles every year to cook for a friend and his family every March. I'd say this place is definitely worth the visit. We were lucky enough to walk in and be seated without a reservation.More
