From the street the place looks like another kiosk and there are more fancy places near by. However, when we came inside, we found very warm atmosphere. The service was very fast, effective and hospital. Pasta carbonare was just excellent. Free WIFI was very useful. I recommend to my friends visiting Padova to eat in Casa del Tramezzino.

With a short visit in Padova we've decided to eat some italian food. Unfortunately we didn't find a place advised in our hotel. Wandering on the main street we were greeted by the waiter of this horrible place. He gave us a menu without giving beverages card asking what we would like to drink. Small cola zero...we've got a big... More

We have been in Italy for 3 weeks now and this had to be the most overpriced food we had. Every afternoon we enjoy spritz or beer and a snack with our friends and unfortunately we decided to try this place out. The good: there are only 2 - they speak fair English so if you're completely overwhelmed (but you... More

We only went for gelato, so cannot comment on the other food, but the portions were huge and the quality was fantastic (with chunks of coffee beans in the caffe flavour). The service was fantastic, from completely bilingual servers who were extremely friendly and very encouraging of my girlfriend and I being so open about our same sex relationship. The... More

Only go there if you're starving during siesta time, when almost every other restaurant is closed. The pizza we ordered was actually not bad, but everything else was just below average. The waitress was acting like she didn't care if we stay or leave, in fact she seemed angry that we kept asking about "pizza speciale padova" which was drawn... More

Horrible tourist trap! There was a blackboard menu outside with special offers. We sat outside and ordered two of these spaghetti bolgnese at 5 Euros a dish and two glass's of wine. The spaghetti was cold, cheap spaghetti with no meat and the wine was vinegar! The bill was presented at 28 euros, when the price was queried as excessive... More

Sandwich lunch... Average quality and service... Chicken sandwich seemed fresh, at least. It's just a pub for a quick lunch. Bad quality of restroom.

Description
I want to post a review to prevent other travelers to go to this place. It is a total tourist trap. They overcharged us big time and I have pictures and receipt to prove it.
