This is our second trip to Bolzano and we specifically looked for this restaurant as we enjoyed it last time. The food is excellent, Sud Tyrol fare. The beer is good. Service was very good.

Great and tasteful typical food, very good beer as well. Prices are medium, not expensive, portions are plentiful and tasty. Personal is skilled and gentle. Recommended

After arriving in Bolzano and checking into our hotel, we looked for a more casual restaurant to have lunch. Menu has some variety and the food was okay, if not a little on the salty side. Very little English spoken here. We received an item we did not order, even though we pointed to the items we were ordering and... More

Well...beer is Paulaner branded and it's really good. Service was unpolite and we waited a lot before ordering 2 simple beer. We saw some pizzas at other's table and really don't like pizzas...It's a pity because things could work so much better. Prices in the average.

Lunched here with my wife. Service was initially slow but after our orders were taken the meals and drinks arrived in short time The restaurant is located in a street away from the main Plaza so the only views are of the passers by. Food was nice and not overpriced.

Try the three dumplings they were great. They speak very good English. Prices were reasonable. I suggest a good wine to go with it. The bruschetta are very large which was not what I expected. But they were good. The speck with mushrooms and tomatoes was very good.

We loved this little indoor/outdoor cafe. Cafe means it is more of a casual "osteria" and not a full restaurant or trattoria My wife and i were tired from walking and decided to try this based on Trip Advisor. Paulaner Beer very good for Italy (not New York City or Brussels level). Pizza was awesome. Server was attentive. They had... More

Description
The “Paulaner Stuben” are inaugurated in September 2005, becoming the first restaurant south of the Brenner with the brand of the prestigious munich brewery “Paulaner”. The restaurant is housed in one of the oldest buildings of the city, the residence “Troilo – Troyburg” dating from the thirteen century, and is able to reach both the shopping archades ”Portici – Lauben” and the street “Silbergasse – Via Argentieri”. The three spacious dining rooms ( “Stuben”) are characterized by beautiful vaulted ceilings and friendly wood furniture can accommodate up to 150 people. In the warm season is set up outside a terrace for about seventy guests with tables and chairs reminiscent of the splendid traditional beer gardens in Munich. The choice of menu is much wider. It ranges in fact from the “classics Paulaner”, brewery typical local dishes such as dumplings, shank and grilled meat served in copper pans, till to the base plates of Mediterranean cuisine such as pasta, vegetables, fish and of course delicious pizzas baked in two variants , the classic round pizza and pizza by the meter served on elegant wooden cutting boards ( “Pizza on board”).The culinary concept behind our “BEERHALL” is in fact the daily search of harmony between the style and tradition of the Bavarian restaurants and the quality of the italian cuisine.
