I went to this place with friends for the first time and I must say that the expectations were confirmed. We ate at the gourmet restaurant, both the service (in keeping with the location), the room (furnished with style) and the food (really excellent with quality materials) everything was up to par. The homemade bread is also excellent. The sore point is that the price of the wines is a little too high in my opinion. Furthermore, another problem is the area where you can only park for a fee.

the food is typico Piedmontese cuisine. the Italian salad was generous with the cheese and meat. the master piece is the fredo which is many layers and presented like a train on a rail road

I went to Officina del Gusto (which has now changed its name) with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. The location is very beautiful and elegant, chic to the right degree. We sat around a wonderful round table surrounded by wine cabinets, excellent for being able to talk comfortably with all the people sitting. The dinner was very pleasant and the dishes were appreciated by all the guests, in particular the risotto with courgettes and provolone del Monaco and the pork with dark chocolate reduction. Even the desserts left everyone satisfied: light but tasty and refined. A special mention goes to the dining room staff. Christian and Luigi assisted and advised us in a professional but also friendly manner. I will definitely consider this restaurant to celebrate other special occasions in the future.

Now the old restaurant is just a memory. Nothing to do with what we had known and experienced on several occasions in the past and we really are not there. With the exception of the waitress originally from Naples, unique for her kindness and competence, everything else is comparable to the lunch of a company canteen. The quantity guaranteed by the buffet formula is not enough, when quality is lacking. All modest... from the reception to the service, to the cuisine in all its aspects and dishes. Addio...

It is an interesting regeneration experiment because we are inside former railway workshops. Unfortunately, like almost everything in Turin, a city that seems to want to maintain its confidential character even in the lack of information, it is not publicized enough and not easily found except by those who know the location, and furthermore the area is also quite depopulated in a Turin that at 9 almost all its doors close. Having said that, the place is certainly interesting and dedicated to "sustainable cuisine", that is, with particular attention to also using ricslo cuisine, including the famous boiled meatballs. Obviously the meats and especially the wines are of absolutely superior quality, but it was a company dinner and therefore I can't say about price levels or anything else, but the Falanghina wine served (from a cooperative etc.) was truly a sensorial experience.

Spectacular venue. Unique and beautifully furnished environments. I was invited to an aperitif for a graduation. The food was good, nothing special. Sandwiches with salmon and raw ham and burrata, sandwiches with Russian salad. Pizzas and focaccia. The fried fari are good: very small arancini, Ascolana olives and courgette flowers. Too bad for the decidedly small portions.
The service was slow to say the least. It took them half an hour to cut the cakes (maybe even a little more)

I have been to Snodo for a dinner with my sister and mother. We have shared agnolotti as a starter which was the best agnolotti I have ever had! My sister and mom had chateaubriand and loved it! I had grilled salmon which was extremely delicious. Their free offerings also worth mentioning: They have offered us a wonderful brut (Balbiano Chiulin) together with delicious breads and mini starters. Our waiter was very professional with a good knowledge of wines (he is having a somelier course). I highly recommend Snodo everyone visiting Torino!

We had been recently here for a family reunion as my son've got his engineering degree at the famous Politecnico of Torino nearby. So we needed a place for a party not faraway from the University.
The place looks really nice at all, not only for the restaurants but even for the bar lounge area inside. Nice place also just to get a drink or a coffee.
There are different restaurant inside, but we reserved the snodo as place available for the number we were.
Food selections are many even vegan, i would say it's not the classic cousine but almost the evolution of classic courses by a modern international cousine.
Anyway The final result is very good. The place is very comfortable, the service and the people very gently. Wine selection beautiful.
It's a beautiful option in the charming and classic Torino.
Really Enjoy !

We're taken to dinner by a local company and loved the place. Set inside the old railway repair buildings, this place oozes atmosphere and class.
English menus were a bonus and even had gluten free options for one member of our party but the food was excellent and the local red wine to wash it down, superb.
Great service from friendly staff and could definitely recommend the sea bass ravioli starter which was Devine.
2 totally different food halls, ours for the more modern, younger clientele, with modern, but not too loud music, and another more reserved area next door.
A mammoth long social table where the locals meet up and study while dining as well as making friends.
If I lived in Turin, this would be a regular venue to go and eat for me.

If you want to spend a trendy night in Turin, starting with a drink in a lounge and ending with a fine dinner, Snodo and its Officina del Gusto is the right place. You will enjoy a fully renovated industrial site (railway equipment repair center) with interesting design ideas, cosy and trendy. The restaurant is very nice, with large table, original cutlery and plates and on the top of that, very good and Italian food. The service is good but good be more friendly to warm up the place. Go mad and enjoy a Barbaresco wine and the atmosphere of this place.

Very nice restylished location, not to miss in Turin. But there's a problem when you sit to eat at the restaurant & ask for a plate of pasta (pennette) with simple tomato sauce. I explain to the waiter that my 2 years old daughter and me will eat one plate of pasta in 2 for she's not a great eater already, that's why I was not choosing something more elaborated from the menu and asking for something very simple for a mother to share with a baby. I was waiting for a regular dish for me full of pasta and a small empty one for the baby, but I've been brought just a very small one just for...I don't know! A 40 gr portion for an adult? Or was it for my daughter and I was supposed not to eat?
At the end of the lunch I've been asked to pay 8€ for the very small portion.
Didn't say anything at the moment for I was enjoying a rare meeting with a friend I cannot see very often, so that was my priority, but at night at home I've thought about that lunch feeling not satisfied for what happened.
WHY FOR MANY RESTAURANTS, AS YOU SNODO, IS DIFFICULT TO RELATE WITH A THE FOOD FOR A VERY YOUNG CHILD? CAN'T YOU LISTEN QUITELY TO WHAT PAYING MOTHERS ASK?

My husband and me, we were celebrating our son's graduation and chose this unusual restaurant, that offers the alternative between a bistro and a serious restaurant. At the bistro there are menus on sea, land and vegan or à la carte. I had the vegan, a little too salty but accurate and tasty; so I may say about the land menu, with excellent tagliatelle. We had no problems with the service , with plenty of nice waiters at our disposition ( maybe during the weekend the place is more crowded and the service less efficient....)
The location is quite unusual, with an ample space, high ceilings, huge lamps and a weird sculpture - lamp in the corner under the stairs to the bar : a curious place that deserves a visit

I went here with a group of 12 others and the overall experience was reasonable with a cool location, funky ambience and relaxed smart restaurant and casual bar.
However the service was not great. We had notable issues with the orders at the beginning and then the food allocation wasn’t on point and felt more like a food auction rather than a memorable service.
Overall the standard of food was mixed, the tasting menus on sea, land or vegan were good ideas with some nice variations however some of the execution was just a little dry.
Good for groups who want a cool location rather than fine dining for a reasonable price

I used to come here during my lunch breaks, but no more. The food is not bad, but the service is incredibly slow (more than 1 hour for a fixed menu of a pasta, a dessert and coffee). Furthermore, the staff is always surly and immediately snaps back at you if you try to ask for something
