Went here on my own and had to bring hubby back since he had not had gelato during our stay. I have to say, I thought they had some of the best gelato!! I had the "Cream" and "Hazelnut" and it was delicious. Maybe I just like gelato though hmmm. Go there and find out for yourself!!

Visiting Turin and aimlessly walking about the city we passed many restaurant until we settled in Pepino for lunch. No particular reason, just a whim. The menu was simple and the food was very good. The service was also up to par. We sat outside in the plaza in a lovely and cool day under a sun cover. A needed... More

There are a few courtyards in Torino/Turin, and this provides an amazing take-out window where you can get your gelato fix, then eat it at the fountain. If you don't want the take away option, they do have a dining area inside the building and, as with many places in Italy, they have a portion cordoned off with tables and... More

We were in the Egyptian Museum and on the stairwell we saw this place below. It just looked idyllic, so we decided to go for some lunch. We didn't go in (wish I had now), but stayed outside. I ordered a fantastic dish of salmon carbonara (apologies if that is not what it is called) - delicious and light, just... More

So you're walking around the old town section of Turin and you want something cold and creamy. You find yourself in front of a Baroque palace and see Pepino. STOP, WALK UP TO THE WINDOW AND GET GELATO! They have indoor and outdoor seating and other fare which we didn't try, but the gelato is creamy, cold and tastes great!... More

Just next door to the Egyptian Museum. We were there for lunch which was overpriced and average. Very good gelato, but not top quality. Lovely old building. There was a 5 Euro cover charge.

Dear paolo b, with all the respect, we really think that your memory is failing because since the year 1980 our shop has changed a lot, but in better! In terms of service, food quality, gelato quality and this is easily proved by the success that we have now comparing to the past! It's always possible to do better, and... More
