Il Giglio is an absolutely fantastic fish restaurant near the center of Turin. We stumbled upon it quite by accident and had an unforgettable meal – made all the better by our conversation with the warm and wonderful owner, who took the time to explain the menu and guide us in ordering. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The house... More

Antonio your host will greet you with a smile! The service and food quality is excellent. We were a big party and had a number of dishes we shared. It was all fresh and delicious. Antonio gets his fish daily and uses other ingredients which are in season. The fish tartare or carpaccio raw is fantastic, as is the fish... More

We enjoyed a two course lunch here. A mixed seafood starter for two and our pasta dishes were both excellent. Interestingly the food was much less salty than what we had had elsewhere - and all the better for it we thought. The owner was chatty, and helpful with the menu. Sit by the fire mounted on the wall if... More

We had a delicious meal in this restaurant on a saturday evening. The english speaking owner was very friendly and helpfull. The food was extremely tastefull. We both strongly recommend this restaurant. Closed on sunday. Also open for lunch. It's wise to make a reservation. He had to send away around 20 people because the restaurant was full. 011 436... If you want to try typical and delicious italian food - do not hesitate a second. You will be incredibly surprised and if you're french you'll get the menu translated into French by the boss.

This place was a good find, the trio of raw fish was amazing, served with olive oil, lemon and sea salt. The seafood pasta was awesome and definitely big enough to split! Entree of swordfish with olives, capers, and tomatoes was delicious. The tuna entree, I thought, was a little lack luster. It was seared well, but lacked any sort... More

We were recommended to this quaint, unassuming restaurant by a man at the car rental agency, who said that he often brought his family there for meals. When we arrived, it was clear he was not the only one. The place was packed with families of locals - always a good sign when looking for authentic, delicious local food. We... More

an honest cuisine in a humble atmosphere. charming waitresses, open kitchen (through an open shutter), typical italian interior (a bit shoddy but by experience those are the best). fresh ingredients and no nonsense cooking are the secrets of fine cuisine. the housewine was a bit pale but the taste of the dishes made up.

Love the location, in the old town. The food is just great, top quality ingredients. The owner is very friendly and speaks good English and Spanish. Very nice wines, not expensive at all. Open till late!
