...and accompany your lunch with a bunch of the exquisite antipasti provided by La Casa. Even a salads will do, so rich in ingredients and flavors, and dream to be sitting close to Cavour, Mazzini or whichever other hero of the country's Risorgimento, as little has changed since then...

I would definitely recommend going here at least once. It is a historical cafe with very cosy interior in the 19 century style (there are 3 interior rooms which you do not see from the entrance). Bicerin was Ok, what we liked more was gianduja hot chocolate (milk chocolate with hazelnut) and charlotte icecream. We went several times, the service... More

I used to come to this café quite often when in town but I am sure that I will no longer return. The experience was horrible. We could not get what we ordered and the staff kept blaming each other. The waiters were extremely unprofessional about all the orders in the room and with their attitude (especially with each other).... More

Entering this place is like entering a time machine. Succession of rooms, all looking very old but in perfect condition. The cuisine is excellent. Despite the cachet, our lunch was very cheap.

Dad and I sat outside here in Via Po on hot morning, after visiting La Mole to cool down and rest a few minutes. We quickly were served and chose something I had never tried before - latte macchiato - which turned out to be cold creamy milk with a side of caffe which you pour into the milk -... More

We went out ordered the ice cream, girl who served us said nothing we asked for the flavours we wanted no please, no thank you just a glare! Threw our change at us and turned her back! We then sat... Like much of Turin, this business has a long history. Since the founding in the late 1700s, it's served as a gathering place for politicians, poets, philosophers, and the elite of Turin. The halls haven't changed much since the 1800s, with lots of mirrors, marble, and red velvet. It gives you an intense feeling of being in an important place.... More

This is the best gelato in Turin. During a recent trip to Turin I had the pleasure of experiencing this delightful treat. As we approached the shop there was a long line but as the customers passed by with their treats their smiles were enough to stand the wait. I had a scoop of chocolate and pistachi on a cone.Divine!!!!... More

A noted coffee house where intellectuals used to meet. We stopped for a coffee and wanted americanos. Service was fast and friendly. A real americanos should be made by pouring the espresso coffee into hot water, but in Turin it seems they often just bring an espresso in a large cup and a small jug of water. That would have... Our hotel recommended Caffe Fiorio as the best place to get ice cream near the Piazza Castello in Torino. It was a great tip as the ice cream was delicious and the perfect nightcap after an evening stroll around the beautiful Piazza. We ordered from the take-out window located on the side of the caffe which was very convenient. If... More
