Had a nice dinner with my friends. The place is really nice, the service is good and the food as well. They are specialized in mozzarella (typical Italian cheese), but they also have pizzas, pasta, meat and so on. I had a vegetarian pizza and it was really tasty (a bit different from the ones I was used to). Prices... More

This place IS a mozzarella bar. When you order, you must try mozzarella with some other side dish. The plain mozzarella with prosciutto, or the smoked m. with eggplant ragout was fantastic. We had pizza and pasta too (all with m.) and everything was excellent and not too pricey.

Very pleasant mozzarella bar, with good atmosphere. You have good of choice of antipasti, where mozzarella is king. But not only, we had prosciutto and the quality of ingredients is excellent. If you're not too hungry, it's probably enough to have only a combination of antipasti and primi. If you go for secondi, then expect min 50€ per person.

Modern casual dining. Mozzarella is great. The pizza was a bit too wet in the middle for my liking due to the mozzarella I guess.

This place is great to grab an aperitivo or a quick bite. The Mozzarella is a fresh as can get. The best part was the Balsamic Vinegar they had. You can also walk to the Duomo (about 5-6 blocks)from there and many other restaurants if you're heading for a fuller dinner:

One of 3 restaurants outside with a view of the Duomo on the 7th floor of the La Rinascente Dept.Store. Note: You can use the express elevator on Via Santa Radegonda to access the restaurants when the store is closed or if you just want to avoid having to go through the crowds. They have mozzarella options and their caprese... More

The most magnificent location, atop the Rinascente dept store. The whole floor is alive with dining options. The view is the best, across to the wonderously beautiful cathedral. However at this particular bar, the food is ordinary and the service is ordinary, it's is only saved by the location and convenience. There are other options up there that maybe a... More

We initially wanted to eat somewhere else but Obica was not closed and hence popped in. The place was nicely decorated with a cozy atmosphere. There was an interesting open morazella cheese bar and cured meat bar which the kids enjoyed looking at. Staff were friendly and provided kids with activity sheets. The cheese platters and meat platters were delightful... More

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
