The place itself isn't any special..not posh, not new, just a classic high range restaurant. The service again is average but polite and precise; i don't go there for place, service, atmosphere...you got there if you like oysters as they have a large number of possible choices! If you don't like oysters you can enjoy Lobster and few other fish... More

Our friends recommended this place since we love sewage of. First of all it took 20 minutes to just to order 1 hour after ordering there is still no sign of food. Not mentioning we booked the table at 9:30.... Hopefully we can finish dinner before midnight. Very very painful and slow service here.

This place is about food, quality and a smile. The owners, whom I have known for years, are really passionate about what they serve. They lived in France for years to become oysters experts. When you go just trust them, they will serve you the best and you will not be shocked when the bill comes. This is a French... More

Oyster is good but you have to ask the staff first. Tuna tarta is great. Indeed, they only have one soup. And they do not serve pasta and risoto. Only sea food from starter to main course.

Excellent restaurant with a large selection of oysters and other seefood in general. The food is very fresh, tasty and served in an elegant manner. It is very fairly priced; I went twice and it is mandatory to book in advance; the room is not large, the tables are quite close to each other; not a good choice if need... More

Having made a reservation through Tripadvisor previous to our arrival to Milano, all worked as expected and a table was waiting for us in this very cosy restaurant nearby Navigli and Ticinese gate. Service is spectacular as well as the food. We follow the manager on his recommendations for the first Plate Royal with a selection of oysters and other... More

The idea of opening this delicious French-style bistro came from the creative ex lawyer Francesco Zanoletti and from Vittorio Fenoglio, who has years of experience in restaurants you can taste oysters and fresh seafood (flown in daily from France and Ireland) combined with best French and Italian wines. The restaurant, warm and welcoming, offers, besides the aperitif served at the table, a vast menu of raw fish ( plateau royal ) and cooked fish ( soupe de poisson with toasted or fried crevettes gris and fish); sorbets and homemade desserts. For those who want to taste the oysters at home, are prepared away tray with ice and oysters already open. An aperitif and dinner, after dinner with any very unusual, where the scent of the French Riviera surrounds us nicely.

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
