I eat here almost every time I travel to Milan (twice/year) since approx 10 years. The food quality is always exceptional and the same - you can have real traditional Italian fish cuisine. It's simple, genuine and full of taste. It's the meal you would have in a Italian family if your mum is a great cook (and I am... More

The owners were very friendly and helpful. Menu has English translations. Food was excellent especially fish entrees. Would definitely eat there again in Milan. On quiet residential street. Desserts also outstanding. Prices reasonable,

Seanad in salt is great, dolci is impossible to resist. I really enjoyed the food with my wife. They serve prosecco on the house and waiters are all English spoken. Menu us also English. They play nice jazz music.

Located in the business area of Via Turati but just 10 minutes walk from Piazza Cavour, this restaurant is for you if you are looking for a traditional place, quiet, sober, and quality fish and sea food. Excellent tuna steak, served with side vegetables even if not specified in the menu.Better ask. The first room, just walking in and turning... More

This restaurant in a quiet part of Milan offers great seafood with very friendly service. There is a nautical theme to the décor. The staff speak adequate English to help foreign visitors and overall is a great place to eat.

I eat at 5 Terre regularly, both for special occasions and just for an evening out, and every single time the food and service has been top notch. I love everything about the place, from the atmosphere, to the decor, to the food and wine, and the warm friendly approach of the people. We usually take the buffet antipasto, and... More

We ate earlier than most Italians would prefer, but the staff was ready. The buffet-style seafood antipasta is served on a table loaded with simple white bowls filled with every possible tasty product of the sea. The remainder of the meal was delightful and the chef cheerfully fixed our portions so the Primo and Secondo could be shared as we... More

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
