I had low expectations coming into the restaurant. I chose to eat here knowing the food probably won't be great anyway for the location. It was worse than my low expectations. The service was bad, the servers were cold and rude. The food was expensive...More

Amid to magnificent glory of Galleria Victor Emanuel, with its parade of people from every land, some fashionable some not so, is an attractive restaurant named Savini Caffe and Savini Ristorante. Its menu is appealing even though the prices seem much higher than other restaurants...More

The location is great--and they know it. Waiters seem to trained to be snobs and prices are astronomical: 30€ for two glasses of mediocre wine. The location is the obvious draw. Go elsewhere and save your money.

Do NOT go here. The prices are absurd, worse that Piazza San Marco in Venice. We had a glass of wine & a glass of vermouth & it cost €29 before going to the Caravaggio exhibit. Service was ok but the prices.....

Savini is the name of the first owner, Virgilio Savini, who opened this place in 1884. It used to be very famous with visits of well known people from all over the world. Now it is taken over by another family.
