I went to this restaurant to celebrate my wife's girlfriend with her. We went on a saturday evening and from the outside it looks rather like most restaurants close to the Navigli, with minimalist and shabby chic interior. It's a rather small place with a very cosy atmosphere. When we were seated we had a look at the menu and... More

They have a good array of outdoor tables in the summer on a nice side-street. The menu is seasonal and ever-changing which is nice! The atmosphere and ambience make for a good date spot.

On the plus side: - innovative, risky cuisine; - clearly talented chef, great technique - flavors rarely combined elsewhere - diverse type of food - generously offered extra course Can be improved: - staff can be more accommodating, although it got better after a rocky start - dishes are small (with the 5 course meal, i would have been really... 28 posti was already a very good, if underrated, restaurant. Going back after a while, I discovered that they now offer surprise nouvelle cuisine dinners of exceptional quality. Having checked for allergies or intolerances, and your general inclinations (meat, fish, vegetarian, etc), they come with five (or seven) surprise dishes: spectacular. The chef and the senior waitress come from the... More

Really enjoyed this culinary experience. After checking allergies the chef prepares a surprise meal and every dish is original and interesting. Some dishes are more peculiar than others but I enjoyed them all! even the bread and butter are delicious!

You don't eat regular food here but 5-6 small dishes with very interesting tastes. The waiter is very nice and polite. They describe each plate. The experience is similar with starred restaurants but. The price is fair. I reccomend it!

I was invited to dinner with some family friends and the selection of ristorante was not mine. To be sure, I am more of a meat (balls) and potatoes kind of guy and 28 Posti is, I suppose, the kind of place that appeals to a more sophisticated palate. First of all, the origin of the restaurant is interesting. I... More

The food was imaginative and delicious. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. I have eaten at several 'modern' restaurants in Europe and this is up there with the best of them.

28 POSTI is a contemporary cuisine bistro. The architectural project has restored the place to its original state adding new elements of decor produced entirely from recycled materials. The kitchen is the soul of the project and is accessible to guests via a quick mandatory passage at the entrance and an opening in the room that reveals the preparation of dishes. The building works were carried out by the inmates of the Penitentiary Institute of Bollate, who benefited from Art. 21 taking part in the construction site. The no-profit NGO Liveinslums, partner of the project, started up a carpentry workshop in the prison, where inmates built tables, doors and cabinets for the restaurant, designed by Francesco Faccin and made with the contribution of the master cabinetmaker Giuseppe Filippini. Architectural project: Gaetano Berni, Maria Luisa Daglia, Francesco Faccin.

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
