Came for a drink with my husband and brother. Great vibe, beautiful view and moderate/pricey drinks. You don't need to sit outside to enjoy the view so I wouldn't wait around to get a seat outside (very busy!). Sit inside, get your happy snaps on the terrace and come back inside for a relaxing stress free arvo!

Saw the place from Duomo roof and decided to stop by for a drink. Real nice location, pretty good selection of Italian inspired cocktails and spectacular view of Duomo and square!

It was the final day and we decided to visit, its located inside the Mercato on the second floor, they made it quite clear before we entered only alcohol served no coffee!!!💯💯💯 The views were great and we were lucky as the sun came out just in time. 😎😎The fresh handmade chips were awesome and went well with the Aperol... This is a lovely bar which overlooks Milan cathedral, the view is amazing although a bottle of beer is 10 euros although I didn't mind as the view was so amazing. the service is good but not very personable.

After visiting the Duomo Cathedral rooftop you'll be ready for a cold drink and some amazing views of the roof from a different perspective. Come here to enjoy a unique bar and have the original Aperol Spritz - the best in Italy. They kindly offer blankets so you can relax and take in the views while enjoying your Spritz on... More

Decided to have some late afternoon drinks near the Piazza del Duomo. Had to wait 10 mins or so for seats outside but was definitely worth it. We managed to get seats right at the front of the rooftop bar meaning we could see a fab view of the Duomo and Piazza. All the drinks were expensive- but probably the... More

We saw this place from the Duomo rooftops, so decided to go for a drink on the outside terrace. Comfy chairs out in the sun with a cocktail was very relaxing. Be warned that your first drink will costs at least €12 per drink (comparable with other establishments in the area), but it goes down to around €8 for your... More

Aperol is an Italian alcoholic aperitif, also at the base of some famous cocktails, such as the Spritz. In Duomo square, Aperol owns a nice terrace where you can have an aperitif while looking at the cathedral. Cocktails are offered with freshly baked chips and other home cooked finger food. The cost is 12€ per cocktail.

Really good view, easy to get a table outside. Very slow service, takes about 15 mins to get your drink. Apperitivo was good, lots of food and chips. Quite expensive €12 per cocktail but you're paying for the view and location.

This bar overlooks the piazza Duomo. An expansive view over the whole of the piazza is obtained from this bar as well as good views of the rooftops of the Duomo. You can sit inside (why would you) or outside. You can order drinks from the bar and you are given some crisps to eat. We had aperol spitz and... More

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
