What an amazing restaurant, unpretentious gem in Milan. Our experience was great, with the host and everybody being so nice. The food was very delicious, from the foie gras, to the octopus, the tagliata to the pasta with white truffles and yummy deserts. Also the...wine menu is amazing. We will definitely come back.More

arriving at Milano Centrale, we made a stop here for lunch. there is no lunch menue, but a nice choice of dishes and a great selection of wine. we shared an antipasto plate of Bresaola, followed by two portions of beef on polenta, nicely done...and very tender. the portions are not huge, so we shared a panna cotta (a bit disappointing, as rather industrial). with half a bottle of wine and two coffee the bill came up to 99€. not cheap for a lunch, but it was fine.More

The service was quite attentive (there were only 2 other tables seated, so there were plenty of staff) and the atmosphere pleasant. The restaurant is a little out of the way and the food - I agree with other reviewers - was well below expectations...and not good value-for-money, so I can't recommend this place unless there is some special dish we didn't have or a reason to be in this neighborhood. Oh well.More

We made a great choice for New Year's Eve This is always a tough night for a restaurant (especially when a table has a list of special requests) but they handled everything professionally and made the night extremely pleasurable Instead of viewing the special requests...as a chore, they took pride in making sure that everyone at the table had a good time Oh, by the way, Food was great!! Price was a bit on the high-side but the value was there so we didn't even notice it. Nice room..More

I think the food is only average for the price you pay. Not value for money in my opinion. Was really looking forward to the truffle risotto and it kinda disappointed as it tasted a little watery.. might be becuz we are from singapore and...we have heavier taste? But the previous night at mama rosa when we had the squid ink risotto it packed alot of flavour and was yummy. However, the grilled octopus dish here is really on point though.More

We had dinner here on 29 December. The ambiance was nice, but the food and service were well below what I would expect because of the positive reviews here and the high prices. The food took 50 minutes to arrive and my beef ravioli was...extremely al dente. The waiter explained that there had been a mix up in the kitchen and that the pasta was homemade and so it would have fallen apart if it had been cooked any longer. Really? During the whole of our visit there, the table next to us was not cleared after the guests had left. I feel that we were served ordinary food and suffered indifferent service because we are tourists. An Italian couple next to us, whose pet dog sat at the table, were served much faster and received much better treatment. There are much better places to eat in Milano. I would not recommend this restaurant.More

Dear Paul, I well remember about your table. I want to explain that as you saw the restaurant was full and it's for that reason that the table next to you was not cleared immediately when the guests left. Regarding our service for us each...More

I love to dine in such a great place, staff is always very attentive, the truffle are to die for, the wine selection is very good. I tried the violet candy floss with coffee cream and crumble cake, amazing. Definitely a place that I recommend.

Another surprise for us. Exemplary service matched only by the food and wine. An exciting menu led us in the door and we were not disappointed. For our wine selection we took the waiters recommendations and these matched the meals perfectly right to the stickie...with desert. We had a great night with some awesome food, wine and company. Definitely do this one.More

The best part of our food was the Prosecco which was very nice. We shared risotto for a starter which was okay. I had the beef entrecôte and my boyfriend had the veal cutlet Milanese. The beef was supposed to have black pepper sauce, on...the plate there were tiny drops of sauce which was so salty it made my teeth hurt. The cutlet was okay, on the dryer side, with no sauce. Can’t recommend this place.More

Dear Maria, we are sorry for your experience. Maybe you don't understand Italian way to cook. Real Milanese cotoletta is not with sauce. If a guest needs sauce, it's separate and he has to ask for it. Regarding our beef, the drops you mention are...More
