I went back to Oasi after a couple of year of my first visit. I found a different place, pleasantly refurbished, without losing that feeling of authenticity though. Anyway, talking about food I cannot be super positive again, maybe because this time I off my...More

Not a cozy nor a welcoming place. Fish quality sufficient but nothing more, a lot of salmon... rice was good -but that's a basic...-. Not a place I would go back.

I'm used to go to this restaurant to experience real Japanese cuisine and the dishes you can easily eat while in Japan. Sushi is great, but my favorites are definitely the curry rice/Katsu curry, okonomiyaki, takoyaki, and all ramens. Just try it!!

It is not cheap but it is a great choice. Why? Because you find real japanese offer like takoyaki (octopus balls with teriyaki souce) and many more. After my travel to Japan, finding same dishes in my city is just something great. Personnel is very...More

I had heard about Oasi Giapponese from a few friends and I decided to try it. It was an excellent choice. Having been to Japan before, I was looking for some traditional cuisine and that was exactly what I found. I had some gyoza and...More

If you are looking for a posh place you should go to the next door Aimo e Nadia or to some minimalistic Japanese fashion place, Oasi Giapponese looks more like a take away, the design is very poor. But once you sit you have the...More

Good, fast and quite well served lunch from a very broad choice of dishes, in my less-than-expert opinion. Okonomiyaki was a bit greasy, with a nice effect given by slices of dried tuna waving above the heat and vapour of the underlying hot omelette. Soba...More

My partner and I went to Oasi Giapponese recently. The initial impression seemed promising, that this restaurant was truly a slice of 'authentic' Japanese cuisine in Milan: why, there was a bookcase with various manga, including "Oishinbo", a series about a food critic Yamaoka Shirō...More

Small (do reserve your table!), tidy, well-lit Japanese restaurant, very near Milan's Japanese school, that I believe they cater for. Interesting menu with a few very handy and valuable set options, including a beer and a sake drink set if you'd rather have a drink...More

This small restaurant offers true japanese dishes. Many of them are not easy to find elsewhere. They're so many that it gets difficult to chose. Luckily the personnel is available and kind (if you're italian, ask for Paola) and will help you chose the best...More
