If one of your top priorities when you arrive to any Italian city is to find the best gelato place in town, I can save you a lot of time. This is the place. Try flavours like persimmon, amarena chocolate cherry, and best of all pistachhio. If you arrive before noon, head across the street to the café across the... More

Excellent ice-cream, especially the chocolate variations such as ORO PURO and GIANDUIA. Try the coconut and raspberry. A must-try gelato for locals and tourists. Check the perfume and diffusers store that is also amazing!

Late-night gelato at its finest! This place had 10 different varieties of chocolate gelato, with handy descriptions written out on the counter saying what was in each one. My husband ordered the Jamaican, which had rum in it, and wow- did it pack a punch! It went very well with the coconut he paired it with. I ordered the Dark... More

I don't really understand some people complaining about the strong flavored ice cream! It's because they are used to the artificial stuff!! I had vanilla, pistachio and chocolate Jamaica flavor and it was amazing! However, I do not recommend Jamaica chocolate for those who don't like alcoholic flavor in sweets. Pistachio is slightly salty but that why you need to... More

They have the best gelato that I've ever tried! At least 8 types of chocolate flavors, for example 70-100% or from different locations from instance Fiji. I'm super satisfied!!

After reading some great reviews about this place, my bf and I decided to go for a stroll to try it out. I ordered pistachio, ginger and some nougat flavour in a 3-scoop cup. He got 3 different chocolate flavours, which is what they are known for. The chocolate flavours were ok, although one had a granulated sugar texture. The... More

A bit far from everything else but totally worth it and the prices are great and the gelato is amazing. Two scoops in a cup for €2.70 compared to the €6-9 euros charged by other places for not as good gelato. Best bet is to find a nice restaurant out that way and make it the start to your night.... For sure, this is one of the most delicious ice cream i ever tried. This historical Gelateria makes the ice cream using the genuine and very good ingredients. The fruit ice cream is simply amazing. Also the Pistacchio is unbelievable! And of course al the chocolates! The nice owner will suggest you which is the best taste of the season!!!

The most amazing gelato I have ever had. I can't even describe how good it is. Texture and flavor - perfect. Pistachio 100% Siciliano is spectacular. Please open in Australia!

Description
The ice cream shop Il Massimo del Gelato, was born in Milan in 2001. Unlike other ice cream shops that love to surprise and study extravagant tastes, tastes are without exaggeration, the attention is paid only to the quality. We like to show our customers the freshness of our raw materials by placing fruit boxes at the entrance. Every day we choose carefully the best ingredients and we create an ice cream able to rediscover the pleasure of a color, a perfume, a texture and a forgotten taste. The Maestro Gelatiere Massimo Travani offers a unique collection of chocolate ice cream in Milan: 100% cocoa, Criollo, Domori Venezuelan to 75%, with chili, with cinnamon, stuffed with candied orange and Grand Marnier and many other original creations made from chocolate . Products of the shop: homemade ice cream, granita (ice and pure fresh fruits), cakes and cold pastry.
