Usually I don't write review on restaurants because everyone has a different sense of taste. But this time I must do. The prices are very high compared to other parts of Milan. We ate two lasagnes and consumed a bottle of water and paid 40EUR! On another day we had a dinner just beside the Dome, in a roof terrace... More

Deco is rustic. The menu is not very long, but it makes an interesting combination of rustic with more modern dishes. The risotto alla milanese with ossobuco is a classic, and El Brellin prepares it really well. The wine list is impressive, really good.

Dinner with the family. Welcoming location, in Navigli area. Very gentle and pleasant staff. Good food. A couple of traditional milanesi dishes. Right price. Recommended.

Have dined at this restaurant on a number of visits. Perfect for a night out in the Navigli district. Come for the apertivo (happy hour) and stay for dinner. The menu is authentic Milanese cuisine. You will not be disappointed! Dine outside if the weather permits. The staff is excellent, helpful, and very friendly.

I'm reviewing the bar (not the restaurant) - so can't comment on the food other than the free "tapas" on the bar (which were excellent). Stopped here on the off chance as I spotted a free table for two by the fire, and we had a lovely few hours over drinks and chatting. The bar is very small but very... More

The food was disappointing and the service average. After the meal I was aggresively sick and after contacting the restaurant the following day, denied my request for a refund. They offered me a complementary meal, I would not take up even if I did find myself in Milan again.

We randomly chose this restaurant without knowing anything about it beforehand. We wanted to go fancy and this was the perfect place for it. Really impressive wine card, welcome prosecco and the food was top notch! I've had the charcuterie plate and ossobuco with risotto, but amongst us we've had a varied selection. Everything was damn tasty. I would definitely... More

Staying in Navigli

Neighbourhood Profile
The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande. The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns supreme here. You can start the walk from the Colonne di San Lorenzo, an antique colonnade in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo. During the daytime, this place acts as a meeting point for artists and students reading books or chatting with friends; the nights turn it into a stepping-stone for club hoppers. Science lovers will also relish the opportunity to visit the Science and Technology National Museum Leonardo Da Vinci, showcasing inventions of the Italian genius.
