Really great, old, restaurant a short walk from the central station. Lovely old building, al fresco dining under vines - can't believe you are still in central Milan. Menu full of local specialities, and a good wine list. If they are quiet, ask if you can go downstairs and see the vaulted wine cellars.

We asked for recommendations. We travelled on the subway and several blocks by foot. We were ready for WOW. We enjoyed our meal, our servers, the atmosphere in what seemed to be a very established traditional ristorante in the northern part of central Milan. But the meal wasn't "wow". The restaurant seem to have the banquet & party facilities, which... More

Da Berti was recommended to us by the hotel concierge. It is a local italian and is brilliant. From the outside you may not be too sure but when you go inside or actually to the outside garden you will be delighted. The menu is superb and the waiters translate into English should you need it. Went went twice and... More

This restaurant once had a good reputation but on our visit the service was not good and disorganized, the food very average and definitely not up to standard for Milan. The attitude not at all welcoming. Overpriced will not return.

We were a group of 14 women and wanted a fixed menu to save time, but they insisted we should eat à la carte which slowed things down. So the service was slow and some people had to leave before the dessert. The red wine got rejected. The white wine was OK. The food was good - when it came.... More

We only found this place because of a recommendation from the concierge at our hotel, which was only a few minutes away. The restaurant itself is tucked away at the end of a quiet residential street and boasts a bucolic vine-covered outdoor seating area as well as indoor tables. Since it was a pleasant night, we sat outdoors and were... More

We we’re staying at the Hilton a block or so away from Ristorante Di Berti and ask there concierge where he would take his family for dinner. He replied promptly “RISTORANTE DI BERTI”! He must really love his family – this place was the total dining experience. We had a party of 6 and they gladly accommodated us – greeted... More

This is the most perfect setting for eating outdoors . Beautiful terrace and gardens. A friends cordon bleu chef friend recommended it and it was excellent. The owner I think invited us to check out the amazing wine cellar as we waited a few minutes for our friends to arrive. The waiter who has an American accent from living there... More

This restaurant is a jewel. The ham with melon was perfect and so was the buffalo mozzarella. The tartare was well balanced and my companion had a nice piece of meat with rissoto. Not cheap but the food, garden and atmosphere were worth the visit.

Got this recommendation from the hotel, as it was a short walk and what a wonderful recommendation it was. The wait staff tolerated our bad Italian and was very helpful. Nice menu, I ha the Osso Buco and it was wonderful, nice wine selection and great desserts.

Stazione Centrale
Central Station represents a bridge towards the future. Impressive skyscrapers and new age buildings stretch the skyline with the majestic Unicredit Tower cutting through. Surrounding it are large towers that define Piazza Gae Aulenti, where the fountain and the Monumento Trombe leave one breathless. A famous building of the district is the Vertical Forest, where the innovative materials and trees planted on the terraces are a unique mix of nature and man-made construction. In the district, there is the Monumental Cemetery, known for its antique tombs with sculptures portraying angels of commemorative scenes many will find touching.
