All ingredients were fresh , handmade and cooked/grilled to perfection. My reference barometer , tiramisu, was amongst the top 3 of all places . Difficult to do better

This is the only restaurant I went twice in Milan during this short trip. It speaks volume of the quality of food and service! The fresh egg noodles with white truffle was so perfect that we went again the next day! The price is more than reasonable too - EURO 28 ! Other dishes are also finger licking good! Through... More

Great restaurant with delicious Italian food. I highly recommend this place to everyone. The service was really nice, but our dishes were very tasty. Good choice!

We enjoyed eating out at this place as the waitress spoke my language and she was so nice, offered suggestions on things to try. Ended up having pappardelle con porcini with wine and tiramisu, freshly made, for desert. Definitely recommend.

Hard review to write due to mixed feelings about the dining experience. Comfortable, traditional room and wonderful, engaging service was marred by largely uninspired bland food except the lovely thin, tasty pizza. Everything else was so bland and flavorless. Probably our least favorite meal in Italy. Sadly, the high TA score doesn't jive with our experience at all.

We saw this on TripAdvisor and got a reservation a few hours prior. If you have a reservation, it appears they put you on the right side of the restaurant, versus walk-ins. Enjoyed the classics, very fairly priced. They were out of the half-bottle of wine we wanted, but still appreciated the alternative full bottle that we ended up choosing.... More

What a wonderful place. Nothing was too much trouble - the food was exceptional! and all for a very reasonable price. The staff were wonderful also -and the place is spotlessly clean++++. Great food great staff lots to choose from and big serves with reasonable prices = cheap! We ate there all 5 nights in Milan after our first night... More

We had a nice, relaxed meal here, had a bit of difficulty picking from the wide choice of dishes in all categories. We did not try the pizza, but the spaghetti puttanesca and spaghetti vongole were both very good, as were the salad and the spinach. For starters we had prosciutto and melon, a huge serve of delicious meat and... More

Staying in Brera

Neighbourhood Profile
Brera
Brera captures the real essence of the city. It is an excellent mix between history and modernity, where tradition meets innovation. Here design and beauty reign. On Via Brera there are the famous Pinacoteca (galleries), the National Gallery of Modern and Antique Art, and the Academy of Fine Arts. Interior design boutiques and intellectual cafes are typical of the district. Walking along Via Madonnina is a must to admire the architecture of buildings and the design stores. On Sundays, going to the local market is an unmissable opportunity for fashion, style and art. Tucked away, there is the Orto Botanico di Brera botanical garden that seems like a painting framed in an ancient fairy structure. Last but not least, it’s worth a visit to Giardini Pubblici Indro Montanelli with its Planetarium, the Civico Museo di Storia Naturale (Natural History Museum).
