We had dinner here on Sunday evening. We chose it as the menu looked very impressive, as was the way it was displayed in their windows. They pride themselves on the local provenance of their ingredients and on the fact that they're 60 years in business. A little booklet on each table tells the story of Mimmo and his beloved... More

We recently ate at Da Mimmo for the second time while staying in the Upper City. My partner and I had eaten wonderful things there before and both went for the pizza. They have a great selection of classic pizzas and local specialities. Highly recommended!

We have visited Bergamosince 1985 at least once peryear. We have eaten here many times. We no the food of Bergamo verywell. The food this time was dosappointing. TheCasoncelli had a strange taste of vinegar. Beyond that the impression that everyone was treated as strictly a tourist and they wanted to rushyou in and out as quickly as possible. The prices... This place served us the some of the best pizza we've ever had! It was a Sunday night and it looked very crowded. We didn't have a reservation and I was worried we wouldn't get seated. We were seated right away however and offered a complimentary glass of Prosseco. The staff were incredible, kind and attentive. Their English was perfect... More

We went there as a group of 9. We had some of everything and every dish was incredibly tasty. The waiters were very friendly and helped us picking the food we like by giving us some of it to taste before ordering. Also we were greeted with a glass of great sparkling wine to start our beautiful evening.

This historical pizza restaurant is one of the last few family run businesses within the old city. The pizza is delicious and the service homely and very kind. You can still greet the founding couple (in their 90s) at the entrance.

We had an excellent lunch, featuring cuisine typical of Bergamo, that included a glass of wine and bottle of water, for only 12 Euros per person. Atmosphere and service were both really nice. However, the highlight was that after paying by credit card, the waiter couldn't stop the card machine from spewing out paper until it was all over our... More

This pizza is simply fantastic! It tastes like a real Naples pizza and you have a long variety of toppings. The restaurant is quite classy, on the main pedestrian street of Bergamo Alta, easy to find. I'd suggest reservations because it gets busy. Try it!

We passed by this little shop with local and home made products and we decided to go inside and have a little lunch and good Italian coffee. The food was beyond what we expected...it was absolutely amazing and so delicious! We had a simple pizza and it was the best we ever tried!
