I came there right after the opening time, and the place got packed very quickly. It was very hot outside, so it was nice to get into the chilly room of the restaurant. The pasta was of course fantastic, home made, unfortunately, I didn't manage to finish my portion, mostly because I was overheated. The service was nice, too, although... More

We arrived at 12:15 without a reservation on a cloudy Tuesday in February and just got in. Everything is large so order accordingly, we started with an artichoke, ham and Parmesan salad which was plenty to share. We each tried a pasta, I got bolognais and my wife tried the spinach ravioli with mushroom. Both were excellent for lunch. With... More

I visited Pasta & Basta with family while vacationing in South of France. I have to admit that this restaurant is a gem, with a perfect location but an awesome concept! I am very happy that I discovered this restaurant while traveling through Ventimiglia, and have to admit that their pasta is the best that I have ever tried. We did... More

Amazing quality and quantity of great food. Name means pasta and finish . And the main course is enough. You can take the spare food home. If on a tight budget you could share. But this restaurant gets fully booked so book ahead for first sitting at noon or second sitting at one thirty. Visit the market in the town... More

Here we eat all kinds of fresh pasta with different sauces / tillbehör.Portionerna is so generous to taste each other's dishes. The restaurant has been restored but the feeling is still there.

This is a genuinely friendly place and definitely geared up for welcoming tourists. All the pasta is home-made, and you can really taste that in the food, which is hearty, with extremely generous portions to match the welcome. All the different Pastas are labelled in English and there is a great variety to choose from. All I’d say is unless... More

We took the train from Nice into Ventimiglia pretty much just to say we went to Italy and to get a great lunch of pasta. This restaurant is every bit as good as everyone says. The pasta is homemade and you get giant portions - luckily they offer 'doggy bags' to take any leftovers (i had the rest of my... More

Took a day trip from Nice to Ventimiglia just to get a taste of the Italian Riviera. We went to Pasta & Basta for lunch and, boy, are we glad we did! Mine was the Fettuccini Alfredo and my wife had the Penne Primavera. Both were delicious. The prices were very reasonable. The restaurant looks out over the sea.

We drove to Ventimiglia from Monte Carlo as the kids love pasta & we were so close to Italy would be rude not to! I found this place on trip advisor & it did not disappoint! The menu was fun to chose from, you pick your pasta & then sauce etc. The portions are huge!! 1 between 2 is more... More
