On a Saturday night, we searched for the best seafood in Riomaggiore; chose Il Grottino and were not disappointed. We started by sharing a delicious plate of gnocchi with mussels that was incredible! Soft petite gnocchi in a delectable buttery cheesy sauce with plenty of...mussels garnished with mussels in their shells. We both ordered the entrée of seafood medley of little fishes, shrimp, octopus, calamari and anchovies with a side salad. OMG! Fresh catch fried in a very thin batter was delicious and more than I could finish, and I’m a clean plate kind of guy. House wine was very good. I highly recommend Il Grottino as service was friendly and prompt and the atmosphere was charming.More
