Now, it is true that you will have to wait a bit. It is true that there is no English menu. But seriously, it is worth it. It is a place where, in a familiar and informal atmosphere, you can taste simple dishes of typical cuisine, prepared with good ingredients, much appreciated by those coming from outside and not familiar with typical Friulian cuisine. We always look for the non-touristy restaurants and this one didn’t disappoint. We were the only people there who didn’t speak Italian and the menu was on a chalkboard, only in Italian . My husband ordered tripe, which probably surprised the server. It was delicious, as was the pork hock with polenta. I always judge Italian restaurants by their osso buco or tiramisu, and I’m not sure if they had the former, but the tiramisu was moist, creamy and tasty. Shhhh. Don’t tell anyone about this place!

One of the few remaining TYPICALLY Friulian taverns. Family atmosphere, courtesy and availability like few other times I find. Traditional dishes with home-made flavors and made with good raw materials, a goulash, if eaten in the evening it doesn't leave you weighed down, means that it was done well (in my opinion), few frills in the dishes but a lot of substance. We put it as an optimal quality/price ratio for this reason, I have already been there several times but I will gladly return. Keep it up.

If you are looking for a classic restaurant with Friulian dishes you are in the right place. The dishes are super abundant. We started with two portions of herbal cjarsons and one of frant-shaped dumplings, all three very good, then finished with three portions of their exquisite frico.
